Trajectories also have greater accuracy as the turtles fly and cars topple through the air. Sounds in the extra headspace move fluidly with the ‘regular’ channels, and where the soundfield feels a little closed-in on a normal (Atmos-stripped) configuration, we’re now satisfied with how open it sounds. You won’t be able to play songs off your smartphone through USB – that’s where Bluetooth and AirPlay come in – but the inclusion of dual band wi-fi (5 GHz and 2.4 GHz) means you can stream high resolution files up to 24-bit/192kHz in FLAC, AIFF and WAV files over your home network. There's a lot on offer here when it comes to streaming audio, and a cinematic sound performance that is fun if The built-in Wi-Fi is dual band, supporting both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency channels, for steady and uninterrupted streaming even of Hi-Res Audio files. Easily stream songs from compatible devices using the built-in Bluetooth wireless technology. This AV receiver features A2DP and Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). Supported codecs include SBC and AAC. Lowering the subwoofer level from that set by MCACC gave me a better balance; beyond that I was happy to leave Pioneer's EQ left on. In truth, though, there wasn't a night/day difference.

MCACC produces a series of test-tones that will detect the size of your speakers, their distance from your primary listening position, and then it applies room correction via DSP based on your listening environment. Im not sure, but it seems that if I have only Apple TV on and other devices off the problem doesn't show up. Need to confirm this little more. Could it be that the receiver is trying to make an HDMI handshake with all other devices and some kind interfere with "active" device showing up on TV? In that case the PS4 should have the same issue right? The VSX-932 did an excellent job of reproducing The Wolverine’s quieter moments, turning in a performance that was both detailed, yet didn’t draw unwanted attention to itself. The VSX-930 is the perfect power house to complete your home entertainment system. It offers up to 150 Watts of clear audio reproduction across all of its 7 channels, plus dual subwoofer preouts for optimal frequency response of the bass. and one of Hollywood's trademark bass swells. Although you wouldn't want to use this bargain-priced receiver to drive power-hungry, largescale speakers or fill a cavernous cinema room, it has enough for its likely end user.If you’re not familiar with MCACC, it’s Pioneer’s Multichannel Acoustics Calibration System. You simply place the supplied microphone on a tripod in your listening position and follow the onscreen prompts. As I mentioned before the problem has occurred on Bluray and now on Apple TV. The strange thing is that PS4 is running without any problems at all. Have never had any of this symptoms with it. This is good news. Except perhaps for those who bought the non-Atmos VSX-924 last year that this model replaces – but, hey, you could probably still flog that receiver secondhand.

There's also Apple AirPlay, and a level of integration for those with Sonos Connect hardware. Pioneer's Remote App, meanwhile, introduces Tidal, Deezer and Spotify streaming services.Didn't notice any different. Got this HDMI drops both for Apple TV and Bluray. PS4 running without any issues.
