Gurinder: "When Aaron [Taylor-Johnson] came in, it was a blind audition, and I really liked him. There was something about him that I thought, ‘Oh my god, this kid has it’. He was really sweet, but he didn't have the trendy sort of haircut that Robbie ended up having. He had long curly hair. When it came to The Ace Gang, Georgia’s three best mates, Jas (Eleanor Tomlinson), Rosie (Georgia Henshaw) and Ellen (Manjeevan Grewal) were soon cast, and the four instantly bonded, on and off-screen. They cherished their on-set crushes, and spent time learning the dance routine to Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box while filming at Ealing Studios.
