I can easily wear this fragrance and not feel nauseated. I don't usually wear fruity scents, so for me to like DKNY Golden Delicious is a huge thing. It has a slight pear accord as well, that makes me adore this fragrance even more. This is in my book, apple perfection. The original DKNY Be Delicious, was for me, too sharp and green and the Red Delicious, while I loved it, turned all berry jam and shampoo on my skin. DKNY Golden Delicious is different, it's more believable, a much less synthetic interpretation of a crisp apple.

Donna Karan is launching a collection of DKNY apples arriving in flacons inspired by Keith Haring's illustrations. Keith Haring Art by DKNY will be available in duty free shops starting from February in Europe and America, while it will arrive in Asia in March 2013. The third fragrance of the collection is DKNY Golden Delicious Art which accentuates strong notes of exotic fruit mixed with white flowers. The fragrances are available as limited editions, eau de toilette. Golden Delicious cannot deny its relationship to the green Be Delicious and also to the pink Fresh Blossom. All three go, contrary to the newer Flankern, in a similar direction. By the way, I find the newer ones horrible, I like to smell the three old ones. Golden Delicious doesn't really smell like apple to me, though. Whereby Golden Delicious apples have no strong apple aroma anyway, so that's okay and I don't miss the apple scent great. Instead, the fragrance is beautifully floral-fresh at the beginning. I smell mainly orange blossom, but none that smells like suntan lotion. The orange blossom simply smells like orange blossoms, just like the air in Florida in the evening. From there I also know the scent of orange blossom and love it very much. I can't smell a mirabelle plum. The heart note is marked by lily and lily of the valley, towards later it becomes a delicate vanilla. I can't see any roses. The scent is not very woody in the base, except for sandalwood I smell nothing else, not even musk. Since 1989, DKNY has embodied the spirit of New York, drawing inspiration from the city's vibrant energy.
