For me it's a frilly-dark scent and it goes well with dark hair, pale skin and feminine slightly gothic clothes and also flowers. This smells to me very blended, a ball of dried lilacs, with faint green scent of leaves, a healthy dusting of powdery iris and a few drops of apricot juice. The rose-iris combo here not to mention orris root provide the scent with a dusty powdery quality but it's not too powdery. I used to wonder what the future would hold when I wore this, but now I've arrived at that point and I prefer to wear other fragrances that make me think of my life now rather than what it used to be. I don't necessarily agree with all of the gothic references, and I think those associations stem from the design of the bottle, and the fact that there is a strong and slightly cold Rose in this.

This for me is a Powerful powdery rose and I see that other reviewers say its light with low silage and longevity, well that's not my experience from the one squirt I took from a tester! This is very rose dominant for me, lovely powdery rose with a bit of woods and tart fruity sweetness from the raspberry and apricot in the background.
