This series vastly outperformed even my wildest expectations and this final installment couldn't have been more perfectly written. The author did an extraordinary job of writing not only Rembrandt and his wife, Eve (best characters ever), but the entire assortment of characters surrounding those two. He studied and got a degree in Media Culture at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, Croatia, specializing in creative writing, journalism, and filmmaking.

Estaba debatiendo entre ponerle 3 o 4 estrellas, y me quedo con 4 porque al final de todo es un libro que disfruté. The portrayal of the vampire as this caring, vulnerable, *normal* person who is flawed and makes mistakes and hesitates longer than he should out of care for another is *perfect*. Countless conversations had amongst fellow fans, speculating just how the author would wrap up Rembrandt's adventures in this last book. Rembrandt is this tough and smart detective with a million rough edges, and Eve, who can definitely hold her own, softens those edges, grounds him while also adding to his drive. The only thing I can do is go back to being the man I once was—to the only place where I once knew control. Stone manages to separate Keya from Parker by cutting the rope, and the two fall into the Senegal desert, where Stone learns The Heart can only now be unlocked using Keya's biometric data. I'm personally also invested in not just the way a relationship starts but also how it continues, and would love to see that in more romance novels. All of the trademark aspects of this series continue to ring true in the final installment, and my word, it is a feelings trip FOR SURE.

The language is luxuriously chosen -- I found myself looking words up, and that's not common for me. He endlessly engages Theophilus in conversation, aiming always to make it a dialogue rather than an interrogation; and despite his initial bafflement at this way of carrying on, Theophilus eventually parries back, providing Henry and the reader insight into Theophilus's own ways of thinking, feeling, and acting.I adore the fact that the vampires play long-outmoded musical instruments, having hung onto their theorbos and dulcians. He learns from his past mistakes and recognizes that the journey is more important than the destination. At the time of reading, it had felt like ages since I'd picked up a book I could immerse myself in and get swept away by. What room is there for funeral and weddings when there are an endless number of conversations between Henry and Theo to be rendered in careful and loving detail?

There were so many twists and turns in Heart Of Stone that I wondered a time or two if even James Rubart, Susan May Warren, and David Curtis Warren could possibly bring it all around to the ending I wanted and one Rem could live with. I appreciate how the authors incorporated God revealing himself to Rem through so many situations and people! Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 44 out of 100, based on 36 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews. It was tedious to read, especially since I didn’t really care about the other person (whose letters were so long, too) and the narrative purpose it served could easily have been achieved otherwise. It is a faith journey that just so happens to mash together time travel and detective crime fiction flawlessly together. There’s nothing better than a series that keeps you on your toes, and The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone does exactly that! I wanted to see how they would navigate through the idea of being in a relationship, with one immortal who is hardly used to being with anyone at all and another man barely past his mid-20s who is only just coming to terms with his sexuality and then learning about vampirism and the world of magic. Craving resounding intimacy but with an ever aware of the polite boundaries for their situation, Coffey and Essex perform a slow dance as they grow closer to one another, and find themselves entangled. I generally don't read paranormal/vampire romances these days because they tend to come with fated mates, which I hate because of the lack of agency it implies (and in cishet romance it comes with a lot of toxic masculinity).

This entire series has been my favorite book journey this year and this is arguably the best series I have read in a really long time, maybe ever. It’s an unforgettable journey of spiritual discovery, costly forgiveness, learning to let go of control and fears and haunting regrets, and finding the courage to trust. Principal photography began in the Alpin Arena Schnals ( South Tyrol) on January 26, 2022, following in London on March 8, 2022. There is one important player there to give him some insight and some other characters to give him some help.

Two interesting characters surprise themselves by falling in love with each other, and there is a lot of very intense and detailed pining. Heart of Stone has a few surprises that are important to the overall arch of the plot, so readers would not want to be confused to some of the reference to items that occurred in a previous story.
