This one comes out swinging with some infuriating brutality that left you chomping at the bit for revenge.

Lexi C. Foss (Author of Carnage Island) - Goodreads

The author’s note at the beginning warns readers of omegaverse vibes with some dubcon scenes, but that it’s not as dark as some of her other stuff (Andorra Sector) and the H’s are very dedicated to the h. And she’s right, the H’s are almost sweet, and she’s pretty besotted herself (I can’t even remember any dubcon scenes unless you call her being out of it in heat), so if you're looking for a gritty omegaverse read… this isn’t it. It's a revelation when during an arranged mating ritual, our heroine Clove is exposed as a half breed. As all hell breaks loose, being rejected is the least of her problems. Being exiled to Carnage Island full of criminal, feral wolves for something that isn't her fault is certainly dire. The world-building was what captivated me the most. I loved all the twists and lore as it painted a unique picture unlike anything I've read before in the Omegaverse genre. The fantasy romance is also very well done. The hero is super dominant, yet values consent and listens to his fated mate. I loved his voice and his stern-yet-patient nature. It was a refreshing take on an Alpha male in an Omegaverse setting.I Definitely recommend this it was such an engaging read it’s a stand-alone and was very well written. This author can certainly write and always delivers for me a big thumbs up. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Carnage Island (Reject Island).

Carnage Island: A Reject Island Novel: Reject Island, Book 4

The Cletus Kasady incarnation of Carnage appears as a playable character in Marvel Puzzle Quest. [69] When it's RH, group dynamics are really important to me. And even though they are like a "well oiled unit with brotherly feelings", there was still disparity between the Hs.. i.e. T was still more like the boss to V and C and I didn't like that others wait for his leadership in this instance. Seriously, The Flame King's Captive had everything I look for in a fantasy Omegaverse (Non-Shifter) ✔️ I especially loved the characters overall dynamic the easy care and affection Clove’s potential Alphas displayed towards her. I didn’t find this one particularly dark there's not really any dubious consent here either it all felt extremely consensual whilst still managing to retain all the alpha deliciousness I wanted. After Kasady was lobotomized, he was broken out of prison by the Wizard and Klaw, who intend to recruit him into the Frightful Four and turn him into their own version of Venom. After a failed attempt to control Kasady, Wizard transfers the Symbiote to Dr. Karl Malus. Dr. Malus was enraged and under the influences of the Symbiote tried to kill his teammates, but he was subdued by Klaw and controlled by Wizard, who renames him "Superior Carnage" and equips him with weapons. Ah, Lev. I honestly didn't think he could top Fyn (Royally Complicated) for me, but I think he did. I loved his compl Enemies-to-Lovers ✔️ Multiple incarnations of Carnage appear in Ultimate Spider-Man (2012), [61] [62] voiced again by Dee Bradley Baker, [63] and by Fred Tatasciore. Archived from the original on 2019-04-04 . Retrieved 2019-09-10.HUGE TRIGGER WARNING FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE BOOK!!! Since the author and Goodreads did not provide me with that very important trigger warning, I am going to give it to potential readers after being traumatized with that unexpected scene. The book automatically starts off with a whopping r*pe scene in the second chapter after Clove, the main character, discovers that she's a product of such things, and multiple men r*pe her mother in front of her as punishment. Now, it isn't a heavily detailed scene, but it's still one that is traumatic, especially for Clove. However, all things trauma seem to be thrown overboard along with our main character here because once the three "savage" alphas rescue her, all her problems are solved. Right off the bat, all three of them bet/discuss which one will sleep with her first before they know so much as her name or age.

[51] T not claiming her became this massive thing and I didn't like that it didn't happen before he knew that she can get pregnant.. like how could she know for sure that he was honest - even if we know he was.immediately I connected with Clove and loved her fierceness and strength. And her mates Volt, Cauis and Tieran. Amazing Spider-Man #361–363 and #378–380, Web of Spider-Man #101–103, Spider-Man #35–37, Spectacular Spider-Man #201–203 and material from Spider-Man Unlimited #1–2 and Amazing Spider-Man Annual #28 I would have liked a steamy scene with all four of them, but those scenes with three were plenty hot. I also liked knowing some of the other pairings on the island had m/m dynamics, while this was strictly m/f with sharing. No sword crossing here. Carnage was also used in DC and Marvel's Amalgam Comics, where he was amalgamated with Bizarro into Bizarnage, an adversary of Spider-Boy who appeared in his only issue. [56] [57] 2099 [ edit ] Kasady is able to regenerate damaged body tissues much faster and more extensively than that of an ordinary human. This has been shown as powerful enough to allow him to regenerate from losing any part of body, from head to feet. [32] [33] However, after being torn in half by the Sentry, he was fitted with artificial legs, but this occurred while he was separated from the symbiote. [10] Kasady is also immune to the effects of all Earthly diseases and infections as long as he remains bonded with the symbiote. Like Venom, Carnage is vulnerable to sound (to a much smaller degree than Venom) and heat (to a much larger degree than Venom), [34] and is undetectable to Spider-Man's spider-sense. Unlike Venom, Carnage can launch parts of itself at enemies in the form of solid weapons such as darts, spears, knives, axes, etc., although they disintegrate into dust within ten seconds of leaving Carnage's body. [30] Carnage also has the unique ability to warp its appendages into different arms, legs, and even wings. This is shown on several occasions when Carnage mutates fingers and arms into what look like large swords.
