Unlike many of the religious topic "Dummies" books this was not written by a follower of the particular belief system. The best way to learn about a religion is to become familiar with the stories of those who practice it. It covers the history of the Quran’s revelation to the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and the vital situations of his biography after Islam.

This is not the best organized and reads less like someone who cares about the topic and more like a 6th grade textbook that lacks a lot of deeper information on the core stories and beliefs of the religion I was looking for.
