Unlike many of the religious topic "Dummies" books this was not written by a follower of the particular belief system. The best way to learn about a religion is to become familiar with the stories of those who practice it. It covers the history of the Quran’s revelation to the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and the vital situations of his biography after Islam.

This is not the best organized and reads less like someone who cares about the topic and more like a 6th grade textbook that lacks a lot of deeper information on the core stories and beliefs of the religion I was looking for. THIS PUBLICATION ALSO ENLIGHTENS ON VERY MANY OF THE GREY AREAS TO COMPREHEND BETTER DESPITE BEING A MUSLIM MYSELF. Of course, I won’t be sharing the ultimate meaning of happiness from the book, but a spoiler that I may give is that Islam’s view on what it takes to live a truly happy life is as startling and refreshing today as it was during the Revelation of the Quran, in seventh century Arabia. Ustaz Muhammad Zulkarnain Bin Azman spent 12 years of his studies at Madrasah Al-Junied Al-Islamiah. In this brief overview, Armstrong presents Islamic history from the time of the Prophet Muhammad's migration from Mecca to Madinah, up to the present day.

The Sealed Nectar is one of the best Islamic books in English I have ever read on the life of Prophet Muhammad (S. In chapter four of the book Clark discusses Greek Philosophy and thereby, attempts to introduce many of the passages written in the Holy Quran as a set of metaphors which undermines its stated purpose. I was so hooked on the poignant narrative and beautiful illustrations that I finished it in an afternoon! He's taught writing and English at numerous universities, including American University of Beirut, University of Minnesota, Harvard University, and British Academy. But the question was sincere, so I suggested some books that have helped me better understand Islam. The concept of God in Islam provides man with an ideology in which loss is turned to gain and in which adversity brings with it good tidings. No further steps were taken to review rest of the work due to the inappropriate and seriously offensive material contained with it.
