NMP-2 Footswitch for Remote Control – Remotely control, and use expression to control the on-board effects. My guitar teacher has a Line 6 HX Stomp XL and seems to have added a separate foot press/release part to it. It can be challenging to duplicate the specific sound of a jazz player you like even using similar gear. PIC 5 shows what the crude resonant peak of a guitar pickup becomes through the MG-30, all FX's disabled, when other output modes are selected: COMBO FRONT, STACK FRONT, COMBO REAR, STACK REAR.

It's intentionnal: it allows to avoid any inconsistency due to the position of the physical volume knob on the MG30 (more accessible to clumsy feet on stage than a "lateral" / perpendicular pot would be). Done something similar with the Valeton GP100, whose left and right outputs can be differentiated as enabling an IR or not. The unit only has capacity for one external switch and if you plug your favourite expression pedal in, you won't be able to use the extra 2 button footswitch they provide, which is pretty much a must if you're going to gig this thing. The built-in drum machine is handy but it doesn't really function that well beyond being "a slightly more interesting sounding metronome". I've played with a head rush and yes it's better but, you can't beat the bang you get for your bucks with this. With a wide selection of traditional amp circuits, the NUX MG-30 is guaranteed to leave no sound wish unfulfilled. Otherwise, an aux input for playback devices and a headphone jack are available to allow bedroom shredders to practice and perfect riffs and song ideas silently. That's as much or more than the EQing scoop generated by the tone stack of a Fender Blackface with all controls at noon, for the record, albeit with different center frequencies.

Hopefully not the inverter as that seems to be the biggest loss, but my Digitech stereo looper runs on 120 AC dropped to 9VAC.Real-time Editing - Real-time editing uses rotary encoders and switches, making for a natural and organic process and all parameters and graphics are displayed on a vibrant 4" colour display. The NUX MG-30 offers a broad overview of the most popular effects, which can be easily edited, arranged and controlled in real-time. Impulse response programming presents a choice of 8 guitar cabinets, 8 bass cabinets, 8 microphones in 3 different axis positions and even 3 acoustic guitar emulation profiles. You have to connect it to your pc via usb to upload the IR's, but it's super easy to use and the IR loader on it works like a charm.

Display is a winner compared to say an ME 80, the visual aspect really does give it the next dimension just like its big competition as above.

an over voltage of less than a volt isn’t going to hurt anything new, At least it hasn’t on anything of mine yet. will try and adjust again during rehearsal, however my feeling is that the sound coming out differently out of the mix is not the only problem. No flat frequency response from the MG30 for the moment, even with all effects disabled and all EQ controls at noon.
