I've had my joy cons since one week after launch. Just a month ago one stopped responding. Sent it to Nintendo, they couldn't fix it, but replaced it for less than price of two joy cons. So, I am very happy with that. While I would love to buy more colors, I do use the pro coontroller most, so why? There isn't a simple answer to this question, as it's largely dependent on the player's needs. For instance, a person who plays single-player games can get away with only having a Pro Controller or even the Joy-Con that comes in the box. Likewise, that same player might love shooters such as Fortnite or Apex Legends, so a Pro Controller is best, as it features a more traditional layout. For those playing 2D platformers on the go, it will make controlling your character feel more natural, though you’ll sacrifice rumble in the process. The first party lineup of Switch games contains a majority of the best party games. No one knows its hardware better than Nintendo, and it's gone out of its way to craft some perfect party games that even people who don't traditionally play games can have fun with, similar to the Wii. That being said, there are way more games on the Switch that can be perfect for small and large gatherings of friends and family. If you want to spice up a party with some games, here are the best party games for Nintendo Switch.

Got grey with my console and Splatoon pair with Mario party and have Splatoon Pro controller thing too. Love controllers have Another pro controller that’s plain and a couple of wired - Zelda and Pokken one, 3 8bitdo controllers, wired smash GC one... the new wireless GC one and the official nes pair too. The right and left Joy-Con each connect as individual controllers to a system, so if you connect both of them wirelessly then it counts as 2 controllers. Repeat this process if you want to pair more than one controller---for example, if you want to pair both Joy-Cons. You'll see each controller appear in the Add a device screen when you long-press its Sync button. In addition to his extensive writing experience, Chris has been interviewed as a technology expert on TV news and radio shows. He gave advice on dark web scans on Miami's NBC 6, discussed Windows XP's demise on WGN-TV's Midday News in Chicago, and shared his CES experiences on WJR-AM's Guy Gordon Show in Detroit. Nintendo's own accessories — as well as most third-party options — don't allow for much in the way of customization. The Esywen wireless Switch controller is an exception to that, offering a similar layout to the Pro Controller, but with several options to give you the ideal gaming experience. The controller features adjustable turbo and dual motors, both of which have three different levels to select, and retains the motion control functionality of the Pro Controller. It also pairs via Bluetooth and comes with a three-year warranty and technical support in case you run into any problems. We recommend connecting it to your computer at least once to take advantage of the wide array of customizations, even if you only plan to use the controller on your Switch. 8BitDo SN30 Pro’s incredible configuration software lets you set up trigger dead zones, program macros, rebind keys, and more. I have the standard neon ones and the left Joy Con died on me while I was on vacation in Tokyo. That gave me a good excuse to buy the red ones, as I am in Europe and as the article says they are not sold separately here. Note: Up to eight wireless controllers can be paired to a Nintendo Switch system. However, the maximum number of controllers that can be connected will vary depending on the type of controllers and features that are used. Complete these steps

It is hard to explain just HOW bright they are until you see them in person. Pretty brilliant. I love them. The Esywen is less than half the price of the Pro Controller as well, and because it is charged with a standard USB-C cable, you can keep playing while you charge. It loses the amiibo functionality of the official Nintendo options, but for the price, that's a pretty small concession. Beyond that, it's comfortable and convenient, including a 10-foot cable, perfect for players who don't want to worry about batteries or keeping the controller charged.
