Description

If I could change one thing about this product I would change the length of the Velcro that you use to attach the dream sheep to the desired item, as I have found that sometimes my daughter can't reach the dream sheep once it is attached to her car seat. Tested by mum Fiona Watson for the Mother & Baby Awards 2018: Firstly, you'll be pleased to know any one of ewan’s sounds can be selected to play in both normal and smartCRY mode. Press and hold the main button on the pod for 3 seconds, you should hear 1 single beep - this signifies that the sensor is switched ON and ewan is listening. The smartCRY Sensor will listen out for your baby for 4 hours. If your baby stirs then ewan will activate your chosen sound. Once your baby has settled he will listen again for another 4 hours and so on. If your baby does not stir within 4 hours, the smartCRY Sensor will deactivate. To de-activate the smartCRY Sensor, press and hold the button again for 3 seconds, this time you should hear 3 simultaneous beeps - this signifies that the sensor is switched off and ewan is NOT listening. 5 adjusting volume & light Two things I would change would be adding a wider variety of sounds, and also a colour changing night light. I believe this would help create more choice for both parent and child, and keep older babies for focused and settled for longer. Tested by mum Courtney Young-Hart for the Mother & Baby Awards 2018:

This sheep is really high quality and I would recommend it to all my mummy friends. Product Information My little boy adores the sounds of SweetDreamers Ewan The Dream Sheep. He's four-months old, and the womb sound is his favourite by far. He sits smiling and giggling when Ewan comes out with us in the pram, which this helps me get on with tasks whilst keeping him entertained, and watching the light is a bonus, as it helps him focus for a lot longer than he used to. Ewan also helps him sleep (he actually sleeps through now, which never happened before) so it definitely does help settle and sooth him, which would make any mother’s life easier.

But which is the best? We’re going to compare both these top selling baby sleep aids to see which one you should choose for your baby. Ewan the Dream Sheep Press and hold the main button on the pod to activate. Turn the Light ON/OFF by pressing the left button. Make the Volume QUIET/LOUD by pressing the right button. 6 change the sounds Ewan The Dream Sheep is soft, cute, and newborns and toddlers love it alike. It has a pink light that looks warm, comforting and calming to your baby because it reminds them of their mother’s womb. It works most effectively if the room is dark.

Thanks to Ollie’s colorful and detailed design, it’ll help your baby’s mental and physical development. Your baby will try to reach out, touch, and stare at Ollie as they grow. Although Ewan The Dream Sheep and Ollie The Owl have a lot of similarities, they do have a few key differences. Below is a table of comparisons to see the differences clearly. The original Ewan does not feature anything like this, although the new Deluxe version does have this technology, which listens out for 4 hours to see if baby wakes up. Light Up The Night Ollie has a choice of three soothing sounds and three classic lullabies, to reassure and comfort your little one. He also has two friends, Pip and Benny who have the same sleep inducing features. So What Do Ewan and Ollie Do?

We have actually had two of the dream sheep, as the first one (probably from how much we used it) slowly started not to work – with the buttons on the feet becoming less and less responsive. Other than that we’ve not had any issues at all, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cute comforter that can stay with the baby as they grow. Tested by mum Sophie Budd for the Mother & Baby Awards 2018:

The original Ewan toy was purple and white, and later versions include a soft grey and warm brown colour model. This is handy if you want to buy one for different children and don’t want to get them mixed up. Charlie has been a light sleeper since birth, he seems to love waking up in the middle of the night just for a chat and to say hello to me and his Dad. Which is lovely, but it would be really good for us all if he could sleep for longer than two hours at a time. Ollie and his friends Pip and Benny have a soft pink heart-shaped light in their tummies, with 3 levels of brightness that will switch off automatically after 30 minutes to save your batteries. Battery LifeBoth Ollie and Ewan can be used as a night light. Ewan’s tummy glows with a red light that some mums have said they find a little weird, but if baby is happy, they can live with that! It switches off after 20 minutes to save energy. Ollie has a choice of white noise, heartbeat and rainfall, along with three tunes, Brahms Lullaby, Hush Little Baby and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
