There's no way you could squeeze all the Naga's many buttons onto an ambidextrous design. Or you could but it'd be an absolute mess of a mouse. Thankfully Razer has created the online-exclusive Naga Left-Handed Edition which caters purely for the sinister southpaws. There could be a chance that the firmware of the mouse is preventing LGS from starting up, if that’s the case, unplug the mouse or the dongle if its wireless and see if LGS opens that way, if it does make sure to update any devices and the software if they’re available. Not detecting mouse Tried it in Minecraft, can swap thru the item bar with the default settings, by default they are no diff than the 0-9 keys on your keyboard. All I wanted was a mouse that was responsive, with no noticeable latency, with high DPI, and accurate at high speeds, I got that and plenty more! In theory, it is more accurate. With a higher polling rate, it's sampling where your mouse is more regularly, and thus there will be times when it could mean you have the accuracy to kill, rather than be killed. Even writing that feels like a stretch though, and my own reactions and accuracy definitely don't stand up to that level of scrutiny.

The ASUS ROG Spatha X is a high-end wireless option with a distinctive angular look, and it's a good alternative to the Razer Naga Pro if you prefer an even larger, bulkier mouse. However, it's heavy compared to most gaming mice and has fewer programmable buttons than other options. Here are some common issues that arise with Logitech Gaming Software, generally, it’s a pretty reliable piece of software so hopefully you don’t run into any of these issues, if you do however, here are some proposed fixes. Not opening or loading Lastly, you have the settings screen where you can see battery drain rate, here’s where you can add surfaces to tune to your mouse. Common Issues with G HUB G HUB Not detecting mouse NOTE: If you're new to Logitech Gaming Software or you want to use only one profile with your mouse, first follow the steps in answer 360023409833 to set up your Default Profile as a Persistent Profile. To use input analysis, simply activate it and LGS will record your button presses over time until you stop it, then it’ll spit out a heatmap. Logitech Gaming Software troubleshooting Windows only — if it works on a different computer, then the issue might be related to a USB chipset driver. If it doesn’t work on a different computer, then it may be a hardware issue. It comes with Logitech's Hero 25K sensor, which is the company's go-to in just about all its mice these days. It's an awesome sensor; snappy and accurate. Sometimes the file gets a little wonky and the software has trouble writing the settings to save. A fresh file usually fixes this issue. How to uninstall Logitech Gaming Software The good news is Razer isn't charging extra for this version of the Viper over the older model, so it's an obvious upgrade for many. If you're looking for a competitive wired mouse that's lefty-friendly, this is the way to go.

Logitech Gaming Software has been around much longer and supports more devices, it has an older UI that has looked the same for years but has generally been more reliable. Going forward, any product after the Logitech G Pro Wireless will no longer support LGS. Razer has created a left-handed version of the popular Naga, however, which is a smart choice given its many-button design cannot work in an ambidextrous layout. Are ambidextrous mice good? A huge selling point about Corsair's product is the fact that the 12 buttons on the side are on a patented 'slider' that can be positioned to take into account your hand and grip for maximum comfort. I gave it 1 star off for Ergonomic because of this, and tho it does feel nice in the hand, it's the learning curve that makes it strange to use, it's more wide than normal, and that takes some adjusting to get comfortable with, it is not a liar when it says it's Ergonomic , it's just diffident.

Converting profiles from the G700 to the G600. These 2 mice have different buttons, so don't expect to plug-and-play. Although you can see the G700 profiles in the LGS when the G600 is plugged in, you cannot use the G700 profile successfully unless you remap all keys to the G600. It's easy to do. All of the commands associated with a profile are listed in the commands menu area in LGS (on the left side of the screen). Drag and drop the commands from the commands menu to the G600 buttons and you're ready to go. If you are permanently switching from G700 to G600, remapping existing profiles is fine. If you plan to use both mice interchangeably, then rename the G700 profiles to have G700 in the name, and copy/save-as the G700 profiles to G600 profiles and do the remapping; so, you'll have 2 sets of profiles...one for G700 and one for G600.

Several years ago, I switched from a regular 3-button mouse to a Logitech G700. It took some time to get used to the G700, but I liked the G700 very much. The same is true for the switch from G700 to G600. It takes a little time to get used to it, but it is worth it. You can choose to have the button perform either a Mouse Function or Keystroke. When you assign a keystroke to the button, the software retains the modifier presses. For what I've tried it in so far, it does everything I expected it to do and maybe even more, it is as advertised it seems, and at a very decent affordable price. The Corsair SCIMITAR PRO RGB is the predecessor to the Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE and is similar in most respects. It's typically a bit less expensive than the newer model; however, it uses a slightly older sensor, which doesn't perform quite as well. Multi Key — Assign a "macro'd" series of keystrokes. ( NOTE: You can set up these macros to function both with and without recorded time delays.) The G Pro Wireless is an awesome wireless gaming mouse, and the good news is that the original is also ambidextrous courtesy of some removeable side buttons on either side of the mouse. It's incredibly light, sitting just over the 80g weight mark, but it doesn't feel cheap or disposable, unlike some more lightweight mice. Instead, it's crafted of high-quality materials and exhibits performance to match. The Corsair DARKSTAR Wireless is a wireless MMO mouse that represents a solid alternative to the Razer Naga Pro if you want Logitech Gaming Software is Logitech’s legacy gaming software released in early 2010’s. The software allows you to configure settings for Logitech gaming devices like mice, keyboards and headsets. Logitech Gaming Software hasn’t received an update since 2018 and will not support new Logitech products.

This took a little getting used to, but it works well. Again, two choices: If I am not using the G-shift button, then I can rest my ring finger along the side of the button. However, I do like the G-shift button, so I rest my ring finger on top of it. My pinky finger grips the mouse on the right side. Since the mouse is lighter (compared to the G700), using my pinky finger to grip and help with movement is not a problem for me. The bottom edge of this side of the mouse is rubber, which helps to grip it. Does your pinky hurt? Give it a chance. Your muscles will adjust. a simpler six-button cluster and support for tilt gestures. It's a lot pricier than the Razer and provides similar overall performance. Logitech G HUB is Logitech’s newer offering with a sleeker and more modern UI. G Hub currently only supports modern Logitech gaming devices and is in early access. It is actively being updated and is improving in reliability over time. There are several reasons why your software isn’t opening, the first thing to try is to uninstall and reinstall or update your install of Logitech Gaming Software. The one thing to note, and it's probably not of much interest to lefties, there is a right-handed only version of this mouse called the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. It shaves off 17 grams of weight but also loses the switchable side buttons and the DPI switch for it. Left-handed gaming mouse FAQ Are there dedicated left-handed gaming mice?
