This is a party game. If you like party games, you will love this one. We honestly can’t think of anything we’d do any differently to make this game better. After you play through 15 cards, whoever has the most points wins! (Probably because they’re on the Green team). Expectations

Trying to figure out how to start a green team at work can seem to be a daunting task, but it can be fun once you actually get started. Possibly one of the most under-utilized strategies for embedding sustainability in your businessis the establishment of a green team. but that doesn’t mean the game isn’t fun…in fact Green Team Wins has been a blast, each and every time I’ve played it. The ceremony recognised the individuals and organisations making a difference in their local communities, businesses and schools to support Scotland’s wildlife and special places for nature . But if you’re a Green-teamer who does not answer the most popular answer, you flip to the Orange team. Now you’re on the Orange team, and get no points. The time, energy and hard work you put into your projects is testament to Scotland’s passion for our wildlife and natural heritage, and our desire to preserve it. Now, more than ever, we all must do our bit to look after the nature that makes Scotland so special, and to ensure the legislations which protect our treasured species and landscapes are as strong as they can be. If we keep having to fight to defend what we already have, we’ll never make any progress. Sometimes we’ll play a party game and we can tell it will be great with all adults, or all kids, but Green Team Wins is a fantastic multi-generational game, and it really exceeded our expectations in that way. A green team consists of a group of employees who are engaged inadvancing sustainability within an organization. If you don’t already have a green team, use the ideas in this post to brainstormabout how you can introduce a green team in your organization. Discuss those ideas with colleagues, get approval from management, and begin recruiting for your team. The programme, led by Kate Hedges, supports 60 young people, through 50 sessions, each year. Participants are referred by schools and organisations such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

I can’t wait to play this one at after Thanksgiving dinner with the whole extended family at the house. The game is played over 15 rounds, where players will simultaneously answer one question at a time. If you’re not getting the responses that you want, you might need to recruit more actively. One business that I worked withused a “bring a buddy” strategy to get more people to join the green team – peoplewho showed up at the first meeting were encouraged to bring someone new with them to the next meeting. When businesses are just starting their sustainability programs and launching their green teams, a common question that I’ve heard is, “What should the green team do?”

Green Team Wins blurs the line between game and activity. Yes, there’s a score, but as with a certain subset of party games, who cares about that? This one feels like an extended ice breaker. Some questions will lead to interesting discussions or light-hearted arguments. I’m always down for that in a party game environment. While not as strong as Wavelength, it is a conversation starter. Some of the questions are ridiculous (in a good way) such as which cereal mascot is putting in the most work? This was a game that we heard a fair amount of buzz about online, so we expected it to be a really fun party game. One of the most common ways of recruiting members for the green teamis simply to let people know that your company is starting a green team and askfor volunteers. This is just a short list of some common green team activities; the actual projectswill vary, depending upon the unique needs and culture of each organization. Starting Your Green Team In Green Team Wins, players are trying to score the most points by answering questions and matching with the most popular answer. The gameplay takes place over 15 rounds. Everyone starts on the orange team. Each round a new question is drawn. Questions come in three types: Fill in the Blank, Best of Three, and This or That. Fill in the Blank presents you with a word, with an empty space before or after it: “Fire ____” or “_____ Night”.
