Description

Collects Silver Surfer (2014) #1-15, All-New Marvel Now! Point One (2014) #1 (Silver Surfer Story), and Silver Surfer (2016) #1-14. Third a really horrible Dr. Strange team-up that's boring before we even get to the never-ending nightmare sequence. Its only redeeming quality: it's the only arc to treat the Carnage arc like it just happened. But Bendis has never been at his best in the big team books. He needs a personal point-of-view to excel, and we lose that here. Worse, the series bloated to be much too large, so it's pretty slow-moving. So, interesting-not-interesting I'd have to say. [3/5] Collects Amazing Fantasy (1961) #15, Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #1-38, Amazing Spider-Man Annual (1964) #1-2, Strange Tales Annual (1962) #2, and Fantastic Four Annual (1963) #1.

Collects Avengers Assemble (2012) #1-8; Guardians of the Galaxy (2013) 0.1, #1-27; Guardians of the Galaxy Annual (2014) #1; Guardians of the Galaxy: Tomorrow’s Avengers (2013) #1; All-New X-Men (2012) #22-24; Free Comic Book Day 2014 (Guardians of the Galaxy) #1; Guardians of Knowhere (2015) #1-4; and Guardians Team-Up (2015) #1-2. Collects X-Men Adventures (1992) #1-15, X-Men Adventures (1994) #1-13, and X-Men Adventures (1995) #1-13. Ultimate Six (USM #46 + Ultimate Six #1-7). This was one of the first big Ultimate team-ups, and so it was great to see the Ultimates and Spider-Man together. Except it turns out they're barely on-screen at the same time, and when they are it's largely elided. Nonetheless, we get the Ultimates' view of the Spider-verse: what SHIELD has been doing with Spider-Man's villains and how Fury sees them as the first steps in a genetic war. That's all a pretty cool meeting of the worlds. Collects Spectacular Spider-Man (1976) #1-42, Spectacular Spider-Man Annual (1979) #1, Amazing Spider-Man Annual (1964) #13, and Fantastic Four (1961) #218.Collects Free Comic Book Day 2019 (Avengers/Savage Avengers) #1 (Savage Avengers Story), Savage Avengers (2019) #1-28, Savage Avengers Annual (2019) #1, and Savage Avengers (2019) #0 [including Uncanny X-Men (1981) 190-191]. It's perhaps a hair less great that the 1610 stories, because Miles is a smaller fish in a big run, but Bendis makes good use of that, particularly with his hilarious inclusion of Goldballs! Collects Fantastic Four (1998) #554-569, Fantastic Four Annual (2010) #32, Fantastic Force (2009) #1-4, and Marvel 1985 (2008) #1-6.
