Overall, I liked the performance of this concealer. It was full coverage, did not crease if I applied powder and wore well throughout the day. I hope they expand the concealer range so I can continue to use this concealer in the winter and so others can use this concealer.

If you have greasy, shine-prone skin, step away. This is JLo levels of glow. However, I did get my friend with combo-skin to try it with some setting powder and she loved it. Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication. Unfortunately, the shade range for this concealer is not great. Currently, there are only 5 color options: Light (L3-4), Medium (M1-2), Medium Honey (M3-4), Medium Deep (M5-D1) and Deep (D2-3). My skin tone is fair, and the lightest shade is pretty close to my summer “tan,” and the concealer will be too dark for me in the winter months. Blend in the product until the product gets absorbed into your skin and your desired level of brightness is achieved. Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). Light Illusion is rammed full of emulsifiers, silicones, plastic polymers and reflective powdered metals, and Drew isn’t ashamed to admit it.
