Avoid wearing on the hot sunny day. It does still smell when you are in the bath, so it interacts with water well. This is my first time trying it... I definitely smell the roses. They smell very fresh & real, it's quite impressive. But there is this overwhelming fruitiness that makes the overall experience feel more fun... Frivolous? Juvenile? I was expecting something more sophisticated I suppose based on the price, but I guess I shouldn't assume that just because something is expensive it should smell a certain way. Family of: N/A the original you might love this if you love something like Narciso Rodriguez for Her edp

I received this perfume as a large sample along with the original Delina. I was super excited to finally try this coveted perfume family that seems to be absolutely everywhere FINALLY!These are different, but the Delina DNA is there. Delina Exclusif is deeper and richer overall, amongst other things. Both have above average performance but Delina Exclusif outperforms. I love smoky dark roses and hate vanilla sweet scents so I was so hopeful for a good marriage of those notes to make an INTERESTING Rose in my collection. It's nice, don't get me wrong. This may have something to do with my skin chemistry because my skin AMPS UP any warm ambery comfy scent (hence why I am not a fan of vanillas or tonkas or caramels) while ignoring any sour or bright scents. I would certainly recommending getting a sample if you are very into feminine fragrances but not necessarily sugary sweet, very into florals and especially rose, looking for a versatile spring fragrance, or if you're considering blind buying it.

I felt better because after my days of truly testing Delina E. I still wanted a perfume with a nice woody vanilla drydown. I got that in Guerlain Mon Guerlain of all things. They still know how to do vanilla, and MG has a wonderful sandalwood in the base. Did I think it was a groundbreaking fragrance that you need to run out and buy right now? No, and i'm sure there could be cheaper dupes out there that could pacify if you can't afford a full bottle. But if you want to splurge and smell like a femme fatale then go for this one. Like I said, it is very sweet and milky which is my preference - if you're not a fan of sweet florals then probably go for the OG Delina, as i've read another comment that said the OG Delina is not as sweet. I blind bought the 30 ml bottle while it was on sale and the my first impression when I sprayed it was: meh, D&G light blue type of fragrance. After a minute I was extremely intrigued when I started getting whiffs of rhubarb, lychee and bergamot. This another dupe of Delina PDM with good approximation and excellent performance. This is one of the closer dupes imho. Roughly equivalent performance or slightly better for Delilah. The longevity is a killer. I sprayed it on my linen dress a few weeks ago, and it still has some scent! Crazy!

Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl is the closest. It is a fresher, less dense, more wearable and versatile version. (Delina Exclusif has better performance, but sometimes less is more and I believe this is the case here). Chloé, but make it 2010s. That's what I got when I tested this. Touted as the media darling and go-to rose fragrance for the TikTok era, Parfums de Marly's Delina has become a smash hit. It has the classic combo of fresh, fruit and floral notes. Rose, peony and litchi is practically the holy trinity of the modern rose-forward scent profile, and it's as foolproof a formula as it comes. The additions of slightly grassy and vegetable rhubarb and warm nutmeg are inspired and interesting. As far as fragrances go, it's not hard to see why this is a crowd-pleaser. This is another dupe of Delina PDM with good approximation and excellent performance. There is a forward ambroxan note here that dissipates after the opening. Rose 01 outperforms. I have sampled Delina Exclusif a handful of times and have fallen absolutely in love with it<3 initially I did not like this fragrance but after giving it another chance oh myyyy. I LOVE the lychee top note, at first this perfume smells so juicy, fruity and fresh, it literally smells edible in the best way possible. As the day goes on and the scent settled onto my skin it turns into this beautiful creamy, powdery, rose vanilla. It lasted alll day on my skin and also attracted some compliments. At first I thought it was because I haven’t taken a shower lol but after the shower I sprayed the perfume again but sadly got the same terrible scent at the drydown.

The scent smells rosy, *slightly* fruity and a bit powdery. People say it smells like baby powder - no. It smells like a floral/slightly fruity powder. The floral isn't white florals, it's delicious rose, specifically Turkish delight. If you've ever smelt rosewater with sugar, that is part of this fragrance. About a 5th of it. The rest is lychee, slightly vanilla, Oud, smokey, powdery. I have to spray viva la juicy gold couture which is the type of sweet I prefer , when I want to enjoy how I smell and it layers well with Delina. This is not the kind of perfume I’m usually into as I prefer gourmand, sweet white floral type scents but I decided to give it a try because I wanted something a bit fresher for summer. Comparing Exclusif to the OG Delina ... I adore them both, and right now it's hard for me to choose which one I enjoy more. The OG Delina is a beautiful floral perfume-- a thorny rose with some incense and musk (on my skin, I barely get much of the fruit that people are talking about), and Exclusif is a sweeter option. I would say that OG Delina is the more mature one of the two, but Exclusif is far from being immature. I think that OG Delina is probably the sexier one of the two, but at the same time, my husband prefers Exclusif ... So what do I know? Haha. I would say that both fragrances would work all year round, too.I suppose a positive is I don’t think I’ve ever smelled this in person on someone, despite it being so popular. Perhaps it’s niche popular— those in the fragrance or influencer world but not everyday people you see day to day.

This is once again another dupe of Delina PDM with good approximation and excellent performance. This is a really nice one, but it has beast mode performance so spray with caution. Longevity: 10/10 - It's 12 hours and still going strong. It started wearing off at about 10 hours. But still super strong.

My Account

I tried this because I heard SO many good things about it, despite my better judgement. Let me put some disclaimers up front. Firstly, I can only very rarely stand powdery fragrances. Secondly, incense notes are difficult for me, for some reason. It's not that either of these smell bad....they just make my nose and throat itch and give me a headache. Thirdly, rose is among my least favorite floral note, unless it's balanced with something very dark and moody (think tobacco or rum).
