Familar to millions, Fearne Cotton's voice is her career, her livelihood and her communication to everyone - whether it's through the television, radio or her 'Happy Place' podcast. With workbook elements to help you start and end the day well; get in touch with your creative side; and find peace through written exercises, simple practical ideas and visualisations, these are daily tricks and reminders to help you unlock that inner happiness. I was really looking forward to reading this book, as I really like ferne and what she stands for even more so in recent years. Where many have praised Fearne for her honesty, others have pointed out that this is a book written during lockdown when numerous outside responsibilities were lost.

The brand was created from her first book released in 2017, Happy, which was a Sunday Times Bestseller and a silver Nielsen Bestseller.

I did however gain a few useful insights into my own truths and picked up some good tips on how to start speaking them! Speak Your Truth dives into all the ways we learn to stay quiet for the wrong reasons, and explores how to. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. Sarah Wilson, author of First, We Make the Beast Beautiful Fearne Cotton's voice is familiar to millions, whether that's through television, radio or on her hugely successful Happy Place podcast.

There are also times especially more recently I was honest with a ‘friend’ who helped me through the darkest days of postnatal depression and she repaid me with lies, negativity and deceit and to top it off she discloses to other people that I am all the things I believe myself to be - annoying, spiteful, unkind, ugly, hateful, fat, needy, over-confident, outspoken and rude. Because she has confidently say in silence and dug deep to find her inner truth and she discovered that the life she was living was clouding that.

But, recently I have found the heaviness that resides in many spiritual books inaccessible to my low lockdown concentration. Speak Your Truth’ dives into all the ways we learn to stay quiet for the wrong reasons, and explores how to find your voice, assert yourself and speak out with confidence. Drawing on her own experiences and including expert advice, HAPPY offers practical ways of finding joy each and every day. Fearne is open and honest about her struggles and how she adapted to other people to fit in in her early years. It was an easy read and did not require me to concentrate much so in that sense it was relaxing however it sounded more like I was reading Ferne's daily journal as some of the parts almost felt like a rant.

I have to say everything and I mean everything Fearne said in this book I could correlate back to myself.

Loved this book and totally resonated with the things Ferne had experienced when speaking (or not speaking) her truth! it didn't suprise me that this was another lovely, beautiful book, full of inspiration, straight talking experience, and pure care for the reader.

So, when Fearne’s doctor told her she was at risk of needing a throat operation followed by two weeks of being unable to speak, she found herself facing a period of unexpected contemplation.Biography: Fearne Cotton is one of the best known and most popular broadcasters in the UK and is most recently known as the Founder of the wellbeing brand, Happy Place. This was also the premise for her podcast launched in 2018, Happy Place, and has featured an array of guest such as Ellie Golding, Hilary Rodham Clinton, Jada Pinkett Smith, Russell Brand, Gary Barlow, Alicia Keys, and Elizabeth Gilbert amongst others. I liked the fact it was written during the pandemic so the struggles of what is happening in the world right now can be felt and widely acknowledged. Fearne had an eager upbeat way of talking which works well for radio and for this book, as if she was interviewing herself, but I think this is part of why it felt more like a podcast.
