I haven't yet seen the movie, but I know several people who have, and they've all said the movie is only enjoyable if you watch with the mindset that it's supposed to be really bad. I am not crazy about Mal's jacket, so it's fantastic to have so many other things in the house that she can wear. All in all I feel like this line has some good ideas, and a lot of potential, especially from the diversity aspect - it is really nice to have everyone with different faces - but the execution sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. There are a few outfits--particularly on the Signature wave--that I am not crazy about, but another thing I appreciate about these Descendants dolls is that they can share clothes with so many other lines (including Barbie), that liking or disliking any individual outfit is not an issue. I wanted to get a super-close picture of the intricate little dragons, but found that the closer I zoomed in, the less distinct the dragons became.
