Description

Nine tapestries of tone, where atmospheric swathes morph into strident guitars, dexterous polyrhythms and gnarly basslines. Rather than clobber its audience with complexity, Fearless creates a world you want to spend time in.

Indigenous communities rights and Cody learned at the feet of the elders at Alderville a First Nation Reserve. Though this song may not have multiple time signatures, crazy guitar solos, or massive drum fills, it stands out as a superlative palate cleanser. Also, they've done quite a remarkable job of stringing them together rather seamlessly while somehow making each and every theme interesting and enjoyable.II" (18:00) Rush 2112, sprinkled with a little Triumph, Thin Lizzy, Nazareth, Ozzie, and even Carlos Nakai. I was very interested in this band upon hearing their name because I could guess they were Canadian. Pulling narrative inspiration from Dune, Arthurian folklore, the Mars rover expedition, and "hypothetical astrophysics," Fearless is nothing less than Crown Lands' application to be the new Rush-and according to Comeau's hero-turned-texting buddy Alex Lifeson, the job is theirs for the taking. electronics greet our ears first and we get a lot more keyboards on this record compared to their past.Either way, there are echoes of the first song within ‘Pt I’, most notably, the sensationally addictive chorus that builds upon a line uttered in the opener: ‘If life is a wheel, please let it spin’. As the vocals start, you are now fully enveloped into this science fiction story of a fantastical indigenous futurism concept.
