This Step2 Sand Table is great. We have two. One is used for sand play and one is used for water play. It's the ideal height for our 3 year old granddaughter. The lid is an absolute bonus. Both my small grandchildren were thrilled with the Sand Table,and my son was thrilled too at the ease of putting the table together! This is really an excellent sand table. I love the quality of the sandpit but my grandson is not quite 3 years old yet and he is an average height for his age yet I feel the sand table is quite low and he is bending over it so I feel he won't get many pre-school years play out of it! Q: I’ve bought this from you but can’t get the legs attached. Has anyone else had the same problem? Bought this for my 1 year old grandson he loves it, not very high so will probably only last him a couple of years. Great buy... Easily assembled.. and disassembled for storage.... Sturdy.. Good height for our 2yr old and 3yr old....Our grandkids already had so much fun... Lid is great.. Kids love racing cars on it Encourage children to practice letter formation in a fun way (while at the same time developing their fine motor skills) by writing their names, or just individual letters, in a shallow tray of sand. This activity is particularly effective if you can set it up on top of a lightbox or board, either straight on it or perhaps using a transparent tray.
