He had hoped that he would finally gain closure and be able to rid himself of his guilt the moment they were reconnected. There's a part of me that debated writing a review for this book at all considering the majority of this is just rehashed material from the first book with little new offerings. At the time, it was only a small review paragraph where I tried to convey my love for the story but it was something. It's not worth my time or money to spend on something that's does nothing to expand on a story that's already been told, and I have to be firm on that. What we didn’t realise until reading This Girl was how much we genuinely missed all these characters.

Out of all the reasons I can come up with for her to go, there is only one reason I can come up with for her to stay. of our deliveries are made by Royal Mail as we think they give the best service and cover all areas of the UK. Sure, we knew what an impact these characters had had on us and how much they had become a part of our lives but being reunited with them again after a year was like meeting up with old friends and every minute spent in This Girl took us back to that moment when we read Slammed and Point of Retreat.I placed my hands on the edge of the cliff and began to lower myself onto the rocks protruding from the edge. Such an incredibly sweet, and at times, very sad love story between two young adults left behind after their parents’ deaths.

I am a sucker for romance but even I find the whole 'falling in love after a first date' thing a little vomit-inducing.I think it's safe to say that with this third book written in a male voice in Hoover's bibliography, her weakness is writing from male character perspectives. It's been so damn long since I first read Slammed, it was one of the first new adult type books I had ever read and there's a reason it's a classic.

From the New York Times bestselling author of It Ends With Us, Colleen Hoover’s bestselling Slammed series comes to its gripping conclusion. Which was why when I heard that her next book was going to be Will's POV from Slammed I was quite a bit wary.It was what Julia and Eddie and Kel and Caulder made of them when they interacted with these characters. I get that he’s the main character and main characters are always perfect but sometimes they’re not real.

The angels are singing, the trumpets are playing, and the fairytale princesses are abandoning their castles to head towards Will Cooper! I wish there were more Julia and Eddie scenes and less of Will wanting to be a coffee cup or Layken's knees and teeth (those last two were weird). There are new scenes, added story lines, and even a epilogue that is guaranteed to make your heart squeeze. This Girl was the perfect final chapter to a magnificent series that will forever reside on my all time favorites shelf.I loved getting to see Will's side of things, of his struggle to maintain his integrity while his heart was telling him to do otherwise. The character development that was so evident in her first book was lost in this book - Layken's character came across as a pathetic little bitch who needs to get over the fact that her husband went on one date. I’ve loved you since the second I laid eyes on you and I haven’t stopped loving you for a second since. What they are about to learn, however, is that the things that have brought them together may be the very things that ruin their connection forever.
