In fact, it's right up there with Did I Mention I Love You? as one of the best YA romances from Wattpad to wander into traditionally published territory. She's With Me offers an intense combination of complex characters, melodramatic thrills and plot-twists and dramatic love stories. Ah, it was just deliciously wild. A word of caution - this does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. If that bothers you, you may want to wait until the next installment is available before diving in. And, trust me, you'll want to dive in. All of the novel's high points are due entirely to Jessica Cunsolo's writing. She's With Me is a success because of the author's ability. Where many would stumble, Cunsolo does not. It is more than just averagely appealing--it is dangerously addictive and engaging. She's With Me is a definite read-in-one-sitting novel.

The usual happens, MC moves to new town, MC runs into hunky boys, that are for some reason exclusively 6'2+, MC doesn't get along with the main hunky boy, MC goes to party and gets assaulted by faceless villain(s), MC is rescued by Main Hunk. Main hunk has a fling girl that is a barbie and she hates the MC. Alas... this didn't. Kenley and Courtlin had no chemistry; this was certainly explicit, but not very sexy imo. The mafia aspects were equally eye-rolly and upsetting. I expected it to get dark and violent, but it didn't, not really? But Ken's brothers and father were OTT gross and horrible and I hated them so much. She was supposed to be this boss-ass mafia bitch, but it felt like they took away all her agency. This isn't a critique of the book; they're not good people and we're meant to dislike them. It just wasn't fun to read, and nothing else about it was fun to read. I love the close connection that all the friends in this book have. I love the characters and how they all have such different personalities. Even the 'mean girl' in the story is unique in the fact that she is completely crazy lol. I love the romance in the story of course, but I also like that there was a hint of a love triangle without it going full-on angsty. I'm all for a good love triangle, but it has to be done right.

See a Problem?

Amelia, the new girl in school, bumps into the school's bad boy, Aiden Parker. She becomes the talk of the school, something she is trying to avoid, when she puts him in his place for being a jerk. You see, Amelia has a past she's running from. Attention puts her at risk of being found. Getting mixed up with the notorious Aiden Parker isn't flying under the radar. But Aiden has demons of his own. Demons that set him apart from your average teenager. Are they the perfect match or the worst? Oh my God, she so told you, Aiden! That was hilarious!” one of his gorgeous friends says through bursts of laughter. She's with Me" is an uptempo, pop-leaning country song with influences of bluegrass. [3] [4] The song includes "catchy", hook-filled lyrics and "hand-clapped rhythms." [4] [5] Lyrically, the song expresses adoration for a woman the narrator feels is "out of his league." [6] Release [ edit ] Escort - I am using this loosely. She is not an escort her dad uses her to persuade men to do what he wants. She does actually have sexual encounters with these men.

She's with Me" debuted at number 100 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart dated June 27, 2015. [10] It reached a peak position of 70 on the chart dated August 1, 2015. [11] The song spent 20 weeks on the Canada Country chart and reached a peak of 6 on the chart dated August 15, 2015. [12] This earned the group their third consecutive top 10 single. [13] In September 2016, the single was certified Gold by Music Canada for sales of over 50,000 copies and in November 2018 the song was certified Platinum. [14] Since its American release, the song has peaked at number seven on the Country Airplay chart, their highest-charting single to date. [15] It has also peaked at number 12 on the Hot Country Songs chart and at number 79 on the Hot 100. [16] This earned the group their first entry on the latter, after bubbling under the chart with "Make You Mine". If anyone ever asked me to define the phrase “guilty pleasure” by showing them a book, this would be the book I’d hold up. Hostelley, Laura (November 19, 2016). "Album Review: High Valley's 'Dear Life' ". Sounds Like Nashville. SpinMedia . Retrieved January 31, 2017.late night parties with a lot of fight and “cut lips”, 5) the “bad boy” with secrets who hates everyone but the main protagonist/girl, I love Bully romances because there is always so much going on in them. This is a classic example of that type of romance because it contains an alpha male character that is tall muscular and sexy but also broody and mean at times, that character is Aiden. Our hero in the standard bully romance is always surrounded by a small entourage of like minded individuals that take their cues from the Hero. We also have a heroine, Amelia that is constantly bullied, but is not afraid to stand up for herself. La historia puede ser bastante cliché, pero como siempre digo, eso no tiene por qué ser malo. A mí me suelen gustar mucho este tipo de novelas del chico malo que no es tan malo y esconde un gran corazón y donde ambos personajes tienen un misterio detrás que te hace estar pegada a sus páginas (o en este caso, a mis cascos).

Kenley completely shattered my heart. Her situation was so messed up and degrading that, as a woman, I couldn’t imagine going through what she did. She’s a baddie though, her confidence was radiating and she wouldn’t let anyone intimidate her. Primero que nada, las primeras páginas fueron tan pero tan clichés que yo misma decía "AGGH dame algo que no sepa darling" Unfortunately, this book went from riveting to... I don't know what. The ex-girlfriend thing so did not work for me. It's definitely not for everyone though. This book is all about the "breathtaking" and "gorgeous" guy. Then, the overall voice of the book is a bit "juvenile", the heroine says things like "Of course I don't L word Aidan [...]" and the story has a lot of petty and cliché high school drama going on (= prank war with queen B) that went on too long imo, but you know what? Despite its issues, the story was quite addicting. It flowed very well and was easy to read. The great thing about a lot of these books is that even though the Hero bullies the heroine, at some point they develop feelings for each other and he stops. Another thing I like is that there is usually another person willing and able to take up that bullying torch when our Hero puts it on the shelf. Whether that person is a former girlfriend of the Hero, the ex boyfriend of the heroine, some other character that was somehow rejected, or just someone with a grudge, the bullying often goes on.Oh my good lord this was bad. The characters are ones you've seen a thousand times but you think that would mean they are enjoyable, every boy the main character meets is so cute and every boy that isn't Noah is a Greek god. Not Noah the annoying comic relief though because he's Asian. I thought this book was a great example of the bully sub genre. I enjoyed it so much I couldn’t put it down and read it through in one sitting without breaks. There were some great secrets that both Aiden and Amelia are holding. And the reader finds them out gradually. Those secrets involve some sinister storylines which were really very good. I won’t spoil them but to say I liked how so much was going on and the storylines were well thought out and entertaining. Poor Courtlin. She didn’t deserve to get thrown into Kenley’s world the way she did. She’s shy and reserved, but would do anything for her sister. She really stepped out of her comfort zone with Ken and you got to see a whole different side of her when they were together. Following its release, "She's with Me" achieved moderate commercial success. The song peaked at number 70 on the Canadian Hot 100 and at number six on the Canada Country chart. It was certified Platinum by Music Canada in 2018. In the United States, "She's with Me" peaked at number seven and number 11 on the Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts, respectively, earning the group their highest-charting single on either chart. The song later entered the Hot 100 at number 96 and peaked at 79, becoming their first entry on the chart.

The amount of characters made it difficult to develop any of their storylines. I wanted to learn more about them, but there wasn’t enough time to get to genuinely learn about them. This novella definitely served spice! I swear while reading chapter four the air in my room was like a hundred degrees. I underestimated how dark this romance was going to be, but I ate all that angst up. Sex Club - Kenley's brother owns a sex club. She takes Courtlin there on their first date. They have sex in the club where others are having sex and watch. All in all, if you don't mind Wattpad (I'm saying/stressing this because I saw a lot of opposers on social media in the past) and are in the mood for some light reading, this could be it for you!
