These coils push into the tank and don’t use threading like previous Falcon tanks so the Falcon 2 isn’t compatible with other Falcon coils. These push/pull coils are much easier to change though.

For airflow, the Fireluke 4 has large adjustable airflow slots on the bottom of the tank. The airflow is smooth and direct, and it can be adjusted to achieve anywhere from an airy direct lung draw to a slightly restricted direct lung draw. The fill port is large and able to fit all types of ejuice bottles, big or small. When filling fast, ejuice pools around the port and doesn’t go in. Tilting the tank and filling slowly rectifies this issue. Included with the Valyrian 3 are two mesh coils: one 0.32ohm SS316L single mesh coil and one 0.14ohm dual mesh coil. The large surface area of the mesh and their even heating results in incredible flavor and the clouds are no slouch either. The Valyrian 3 is also compatible with Valyrian 2 coils. Although newly released, the Valyrian 3 is already becoming known as one of the best flavor tanks that you can get. Depending on the resistance of the coil, the best wattage to vape at will differ for each coil. Most coils have the recommended wattage printed on the outside of the coil. For the best experience, stay within this recommended wattage range.Filling is super convenient as the Valyrian 3 uses a hinged top-fill system. By pressing a small button on the side of the tank, the fill cap pops up to reveal the fill holes. As for airflow, there are large adjustable airflow slots located at the base of the tank that provide a hard-hitting, direct lung draw. Generally, higher VG ejuices are best in sub ohm tanks. This is because they’ll provide a smoother draw. Look for an ejuice with at least 60VG to use with your sub ohm tank. As previously touched upon, the top fill is a little awkward to use especially with bigger nibbed bottles. You have to fill it up slower in that case so would be better distilling liquid into a smaller bottle before you take the tank out to speed up the filling process. There was only bubbling when using a bigger nibbed bottle so you won’t have too many issues filling it up, but worth mentioning none the less.

It’s a slightly restricted direct lung hit with the airflow wide open. It’s a smooth draw and restricted enough that I’m happy to leave the airflow like this. It’s a little on the louder side but there’s no whistling or turbulence. The Fireluke Solo is the latest tank from Freemax. It’s the successor to some of the best sub ohm tanks of all time, the Fireluke 2 and Fireluke 3. The iTank 2 is a direct upgrade to the original iTank and improvements have definitely been made. One thing that has stayed the same is the huge 8ml capacity with the bubble glass installed, so you won’t have to fill up too frequently.The HorizonTech Sector vape coils have been designed as a replacement coil for the HorizonTech Falcon 2 vape tank. Created for sub ohm vaping, they’ll produce large amounts of vapour. To support sub ohm vaping, we recommend using the Sector coils with a high VG e-liquid. It’s unique, it’s leak resistant, and the mesh coils deliver excellent flavor. The Sakerz Master is a great sub-ohm tank and it sits comfortably on our list as one of the best sub-ohm tanks in 2023.

The FreeMax 4 is the latest in the Fireluke series of tanks; widely regarded as some of the best sub ohm tanks of all time. The Fireluke 4 produces some of the best flavor possible thanks to its use of Freemax’s CoilTech 5.0 coils. These coils use SS904L mesh and tea fibber cotton for crisp, pure flavor.Coils are plug-n-play and simply push or pull out of the base of the tank. You have to first unscrew the tank from the base to gain access to the coils but it’s all straightforward from there.

The performance of the iTank 2 firmly places it as one of the best tanks that we’ve used. The included coils deliver the best performance for this tank, but you can always try out the other coils for yourself and see if you like them; the options are there. Any coil that registers below 1.0 Ohm is known as a sub ohm coil. Recommended for advanced vapers only, they'll require more power to use properly, which will be provided by an advanced vape kit. Freebase Nic Shots Freebase Nic Shots are the original nic shots and are still popular with those using sub-ohm devices. Providing a stronger “throat hit” due to the high Ph of the liquid nicotine, Freebase salt shots are great for all styles of vaping but tend to be better for lower power devices like Pod kits and MTL vapes. Of course, this is specifically a problem with the EU version of the tank. The 5 ml tube has much more space and this will completely remove this problem (although I haven’t been able to actually test this myself). The issue is purely one of space, and so the 2 ml tube really doesn’t work as well as you’d want. Build QualityAn important thing to mention is that the Falcon 2 hasn’t leaked. I’ve used the same coil with more than 50ml of eliquid and it’s still as tasty and leak free as when I first started using it.
