you can tell his irrelevant ass was only added as comedic relief to this series, and i'm actually glad he isn't getting a book or being coupled up with cecily because that would've aggravated me more. my two least fav characters together? IT'S NIGHTMARE-INDUCING. i hope in god of pain remi loses consciousness or better yet has to have jaw surgery so he can't speak for the duration of that book. Remi and his lordship was annoying, yet also hilarious omg. Reminds me of his dad 😂. He gets his own bullet (since he won’t be getting a book 😩 neither is Gareth 🥺 and a few other characters) i always wanted Bran and Jay (Nicole’s brother) but im assuming it’ll be Nikolai and im really not mad about it.

Even after all the justifications for Killian’s behavior–his psychopathy, his habit of getting what he wants, his upbringing, his friendships, etc.–I’m still not sure of what I think of him. His seduction was more like sexual assault, his love more like obsession. Despite the insistence that he couldn’t have any feelings, he still had some emotional moments with his family. He was a complicated character for sure, not really loveable though. Her skin appears pale blue in the darkness, like fresh corpses. If she somehow starts bleeding and the red is added to the mix, her skin will look ethereal under the moon. I'd say the enemies to lovers trope goes deep between Glyndon and Killian, but even that might be an understatement because Glyn could shout from every rooftop about how much she hated Killian. But he was so unbothered by it and kept on with his day.killian exhibited all the signs but tell me why i still didn't believe in it 🤣😭 there must be something wrong in my brain for me to actually think killian is the most softest and tamest psycho i have ever read about... don't go through my dark and dirty bookshelf you'll think i'm insane. I'm so underwhelmed. So scandalized. I'm yet to see anyone complain about how toxic, patriarchal and despicable that kind of thing is. Hey... hello... is anybody here?? Why are y'all so boring and call the guy who forced a blowjob on the suicidal con artist hot/bland/soft/adorable when you could be having the time of your lives gaslighting readers for romanticizing the harmful behavior right about... now? honestly none of this is remotely "romantic". i felt genuinely disgusted reading it and had to take breaks to collect myself. it was not dark romance or some kind of smutty read, it's glorified and romanticized r*pe. every scene in which the mc got closer to each other seemed forced to me leviastrid were the worst characters in the royal elite series so it makes sense that the fmc is astrid’s spawn bc glyn’s character was so utterly boring and she has the personality of a blank piece of paper.. i don’t understand why killian was so fascinated and obsessed w her.. and naming her glyndon?? JAILLL 💀 (yes i still hold the biggest grudge towards astrid bc of how she treated my bby nicole)

These two are one of Rina’s most explosive couples’ yet. I feel like all I can say is Wow, Wow, Wow! Killian was like opening a box inside another box inside another box, etc….His character was fascinating and yet, also kept me on the edge of my seat never knowing exactly what he was going to do. I loved him for what would seem like a hollow shell on the outside, but he was truly a kaleidoscope of color on the inside. Glyndon grew in her strength, but it was more of an uncovering, something she always had inside of her, but Killian helped to bring it out. Their story was turbulent and dark with a splash of mystery that I’ve come to love with Kent’s books, but I was also transfixed and loved every moment of it. As for Anni and Creighton, their story was good, but I think it kind of copied Adrian and Lia's whole spanking dynamic because, why not? And I don't really prefer that Sadist x Masochist relationship! I could relate to both FMC in her attempt to figure out who she was vs who she’s just acted like and the MMC who knows he’s not like everyone else and gave up trying to accept anyone would accept him without bowing to social norms. And the funny thing. The male lead role doesn't want to tattoo himself, he said it's only for criminals, but🤭🤭The male actor of the main role have tattoos all over his body. 😅🤣

Honestly, I'm not going to say a single thing about what happens in this book because you just have to go in blind. I LOVE RK's work and I ALWAYS have high expectations going into her books, let me tell ya, I've been BLOWN AWAY. overall this was a cute start to the series, we really got a glimpse of everyone's individual personalities and the series is only going to get better and better. It was awesome getting into the Legacy of Gods world! I so enjoyed what all of the other characters brought to the story! Has me so excited for what's to come! I also loved the way i could picture everything so vividly in my mind. It brought even more depth to the characters and this audiobook for me. the way killian had to keep repressing himself from murdering glyn 😍🥰 his self-control is unmatched Jeremy and Cecily's book is my favorite! Why? BECAUSE THERE IS GROVELING, and if you're going to show the main male character messing up, at least make him realize his mistakes, which usually doesn't happen!Pacing: Mid, really well paced but as usual I never want characters in this universe books to end 😆 I wish it just kept going 😂 how OTT and JP Killian is. I mean. This man sees his woman getting near OM and he goes ape ish. I love me some jealous OM scenes, and this one is GOOD ��💅 Very classy.” Cecily rolls her eyes. “You’re supposed to be the granddaughter of the former prime minister.❞ - she's so judgemental please fix her personality before her book rina or i will literally lose hair like ava. Secondary characters and their interactions were mostly funny and entertaining ( nothing to obsess over in my humble opinion though), but maybe RK should focus more on her main characters so that others don't steal their show? Like it happens in every damn book of hers. Or is that her marketing strategy aimed at luring people in reading her larger-than-life series, sequels, prequels and what not? 😂 Good soup.
