The UK product range has recently grown from the Classic Weetabix brand we all know and love to include additional product ranges. However, many cereal grains don’t contain gluten. If you can find a breakfast cereal made with just these ingredients and no added barley malt extract, it should be gluten free: Freee Gluten Free Organic Fibre Flakes – This cereal is made from a blend of brown rice and maize (corn). Follow along with these detailed instructions to learn how to make overnight Weetabix. You can make it exactly as is, or modify it after combining the base ingredients with one of the other flavor variations down below.

Your great tasting breakfast!, Made in a dedicated gluten free factory, Made with sorghum, High in fibre, High in B vitamins, No artificial colours or flavours, Low in sugar & saturated fat, Suitable for vegans & vegetarians To reap all the benefits, just make sure you buy the Classic Weetabix, not the flavoured one which has more sugar. Is chocolate Weetabix healthy?

Morrisons ‘Free From’ range has created an alternative to Cheerios! Yay! Gluten-Free honey loops made with maize flour with a yummy honey coating. Filled with vitamins and iron. Even naturally gluten-free grains such as oats are often contaminated with gluten during the farming and handling processes, making them unsuitable for non-gluten diets. Banana: Banana is the perfect topping for these Weetabix overnight oats! It is creamy, sweet, and layers well. Weetabix will give you a head-start with your fibre intake, but for an added fibre boost our tip would be to add a handful of chopped red berries and nuts to your Weetabix. If you miss Weetabix like me, you’ll likely also be disappointed that it’s still an absolute NO NO for Coeliacs & Gluten Intolerants alike. The closest we’ve gotten so far to Gluten Free Weetabix so far was Weet-Bix that we couldget sent all the way from Australia (only for the very dedicated!!). However, if you’ve been dreaming of Gluten Free ‘Weetabix’… Nutribix is the perfect replacement and is now on UK supermarket shelves in a big way!

Nutribix are the first company in the UK that has developed a Gluten-Free ‘wheat-biscuit’ cereal. Made with wholegrain sorghum which is 100% Wheat Free & Gluten Free. Their factory is completely separate from any producing wheat products which means there is no chance of any cross contamination. Therefore it sounds perfect for Coeliacs & Gluten Intolerants alike! Weetabix is a classic cereal that comes in a larger biscuit form. So, similar to oats, when mixed with milk, it will begin to soften and can be broken apart into bite size pieces. The main difference is that with when making Weetabix overnight, you only need to soak the Weetabix and milk, but then the rest of the toppings can be layered on top, vs. mixed in as you would with overnight oats. It’s a great healthy breakfast option for busy mornings, as Weetabix cereal is a good source of whole grains, is high in fiber, and contains 4 grams of protein per serving! 👩🏽‍🍳 Why You’ll Love This Overnight Weetabix Sorghum – You might not have heard of sorghum, but it’s actually the fifth most produced grain in the world. It’s a staple food in parts of Africa and used widely in animal fodder around the world. It’s used in a few gluten-free cereals, including Multi Grain Cheerios. Popular porridge brands such as Quaker and Scott’s usually contain gluten. Quaker now sell a gluten-free variety, but ther other products contain small amounts of gluten. Is Granola Gluten Free? We would recommend that an adult eats no more than four (4) Weetabix biscuits per day. Taking this amount will leave room for you to eat other foods and have some variety in your diet. The key to a healthy diet is balance. No one food provides all the nutrients (food components) you need for health. Therefore, by eating a variety of foods in appropriate amounts you can achieve the balance you need. Maple Syrup: Maple syrup will add the best touch of sweetness to your Weetabix base without loading up on refined sugars. If you’re struggling to find gluten-free cereals, know you’re not alone! Many leading UK cereal brands are not gluten-free. Chia Seeds– The recipe works without chia seeds, but the seeds enhance the breakfast’s nutrition profile. Chia seeds are a great vegan protein source, and they add a lovely pudding texture to the Weetabix.
