Hairy Maclary and Friends is a series of children's picture books created by New Zealand author and illustrator Dame Lynley Dodd. The popular series has sold over five million copies worldwide. Grizzly MacDuff has tigerish markings and an equally tigerish temper. When he’s upset, his normally sleek tail fur stands on end, resembling a bottlebrush. Grizzly MacDuff is also an impulsive cat and perhaps this is the reason that he is a frequent visitor at the Vet’s. He makes no secret of the fact that he despises the undignified poking and prodding and will take his first opportunity to escape. My 15 month old son loves dogs, especially Hairy Maclary, and loves touch and feel books. This felt like a great combo of all that! It is a cute addition to our collection of Hairy Maclary books.
