Of course you can use Bathe+ in place of a topper in the above cycle, however it's not going to give you the look, durability or performance of a dedicated product like Cure. EASY & EFFICIENT Q² CanCoat EVO is the easiest coating to apply you will experience. It is also the best value for money product to protect or maintain your ceramic coated car. Its 200ml allows you to coat or re-apply it over 10 to 15 times! Gyeon coatings have been completely redesigned and this technology has never used before in car coatings. Evo products utilize a world-first use of the fluoro-modified polisylazane technology that pushes the Evo line to the forefront of car coatings. This technology means extended durability, extreme chemical resistance, longer lasting performance, and only one layer is needed. It remains easy to apply and much easier wipe off than before.

First off prep work. As with any product its best to apply to a washed, deconed, clayed and polished surface. For polish you can use whatever you like. You can use the Gyeon primer but be aware it needs to cure for 12-24h before you apply Cancoat which is a waste of time in my world. If you want to use a primer product then use Carpro essence (3h cure time) or better yet TAC system primer (1h cure), but really any paint cleanser or abrassive polish will do just fine.

GYEON Q² Can Coat EVO

I didn't seem to have any problem applying it and the areas that I did do (bonnet and rear boot/bumper) looked pretty good afterwards. The car was then left in the garage overnight and not taken outside for 24 hours. Ensure your exterior surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination; so wash thoroughly and dry. Clay your car if required prior and we strongly suggest you wipe over with GYEON Prep to remove all traces of old wax, residue, polish or oils. Although paint correction on a fully decontaminated surface is the main course in approving the aesthetics of your paint, I have noticed an amplification in the look of the paint after using CanCoat. Gyeon CanCoat has the ‘glass like gloss’ look a coating provides as seen below with this Audi RS5.

GYEON do not clarify the circumstances in which it should be used, looking at the above 'each time you wash' would suggest that it is a shampoo for regular use. If you do use it regularly, you can guarantee the car isn't being fully de-contaminated making that contamination harder to remove without polishing (not possible without removing the coating too). I have heard of some individuals using CanCoat as a drying aid, with even less durability being the tradeoff. Although I have not personally pushed this product to those limits yet, it is a testament to the versatility of this product. Q² CanCoat EVO is the easiest coating to apply you will experience. It is also the best value for money product to protect or maintain your ceramic coated car. Its 200ml allows you to coat or re-apply it over 10 to 15 times! Best Practices for Ceramic Coatings I have applied it outside with some issues on top panels (roof, hood) acting a bit worn off after a short period of time. Side panels were fine. Issue is its been applied in late fall with low temps and humid enviroment. It doesnt take long to cure (about 3h) but I still advise you do 2-3 coats on these panels and wait for warmer weather to do so or keep it in a garage if you can.

GYEON - Q² CanCoat EVO (200ml) Reviews

Unlike yourself and applying with the towel which is easy enough, I just get better coverage with a microfiber applicator. It does not take any longer than using it with a towel. I also get less streaking with the microfiber applicator than I do with the towel.

I want to start by saying Gyeon recently released its Evo line, which includes a seemingly improved formulation of CanCoat. But for the sake of this discussion I will only mention the original formula. Q² CanCoat EVO is the easiest coating to apply you will experience. It is also the best value for money product to protect or maintain your ceramic coated car. Its 200ml allows you to coat or re-apply it over 10 to 15 times! Regular maintenance washes with strong but pH neutral shampoos like CarPro Reset, TAC Mystic Bubble, regular Gyeon Bathe or Bathe Essence Then factor in the hard cost of Gtechniq to Cancoat which some have said required two cans of the aerosol version per car for two coats multiplied by 3 to 5 years vs Gtechniq’s one time expense. No comparison! Gtechniq the better value by far. Outdoor Friendly. Meaning it can be applied outside but not in direct sun and avoid wet wet weather for the first 24 hours as it will affect the cure time (ie dew, rain). This will be a big hit for those that don't have access to a garage as it applies to all of the Gyeon coatings. One thing mentioned in the included maintenance book, is to apply Gyeon Cure as a precaution if planning to leave it outside. It is extremely important to ensure the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned. A proper car wash should be done at the very least. Use Gyeon Prep to ensure the surface is free of any oils and be certain that everything is completely dry before applying Can Coat. The paint should be cool to the touch prior to application. Do not work in direct sunlight. Gyeon's CanCoat EVO offers more durable performance, improved visual enhancement, and hydrophobic properties - all thanks to the updated EVO formula. It remains as easy to apply as it used to, now featuring even easier wipe off. Chemical resistance. Ive tested this a bit and sprayed on undiluted APC (around 12 ph), aggitated and rinsed. It had very little effect on the coating.
