Description

As of 2008, all American Standard Telecasters came with a redesigned Tele bridge with vintage-style bent steel saddles, and a bridgeplate made of chromed brass instead of steel. Apart from (or perhaps due to) this simplicity, there’s a directness and rawness to them which seems to set them apart. The Fender Telecaster, colloquially known as the Tele / ˈ t ɛ l i/, [1] is an electric guitar produced by Fender. The Telecaster's body is front- routed for electronics; the bridge pickup is mounted in a metal plate attached to the guitar's bridge, other pickups are mounted in a plastic pickguard, and the controls are mounted in a metal plate on the lower bout of the guitar. Wouldn't quite fit into the pre-drilled route in the wood as the two lips on the edge of the pickup make it slightly larger than a singlecoil.

The traditional warm, sweet early '50s Telecaster neck sound - Smooth, Rich, warmer voice with a soft attack. At the time Leo Fender began marketing the newly designed Stratocaster in 1954, [18] he expected it to replace the Blackguard Telecaster, [19] but the Telecaster's many virtues and unique musical personality have kept it in demand to the present day. Further, S-1 switching does this without significantly altering the appearance of an instrument, because it’s a “push” switch built into a single volume or tone control knob. Other features included a parchment pickguard, non-veneered alder or ash bodies and rolled fingerboard edges. In 2011, Fender released the Modern Player series, which featured the Modern Player Telecaster Thinline and the Modern Player Telecaster Plus.Fender offered factory hot-rodded Teles with such pickup configurations, the US Fat and Nashville B-Bender Telecasters around 1998.

If you need a sound reference for a lead sound on the neck pickup look up Hellecasters back on Terra firma. This metal rod differs from guitar to guitar (some guitars such as classical guitars don't usually have a truss rod!

Light - Medium: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. The mexican models are almost identical to the american models in that the materials they use are IDENTICAL. I also think the Squier classic vibe thinline teles are great, if you want the double humbuckers, and the tele FMT is outstanding, but that might be drifting too far from tele-ness. Tech Talk: Telecasters may seem very basic, but the differences in maple and rosewood fingerboards, body woods and even bridge and saddle materials mean there are a lot of different-sounding axes around, and some of them are very piercing. This has the effect of decreasing the inductance of the pickup and significantly raising the resonant frequency.

Without looking at your diagrams, which I have no reason to disbelieve you, I suppose if we're comparing a Highway 1 to the Classic 70's model(which is mexican) I agree with you.As has been the case for decades, the five-way selector of the Stratocaster offers a slew of wiring configutations. Introduced for national distribution as the Broadcaster [2] in the autumn of 1950 as a two-pickup version of its sister model, the single-pickup Esquire, the pair were the first guitars of their kind manufactured on a substantial scale. If you’re not 100% pleased with the sound of your Seymour Duncan pickups, you can exchange them for up to 21 days after purchase. It has virtually nothing in common with an "American" series, despite much false advertising by Musician's Friend and others (same goes for all in the H1 series). The flame-finished James Burton Telecaster presents yet another Telecaster S-1 switching scheme, as it has three specially designed pickups with special “Strat-o-Tele” five-way blade switching.
