Dorami is a major protagonist of the Doraemon franchise. She is Doraemon's younger sister, due to the fact that they shared half of the oil from a can. She lives in the 22nd-century Tokyo with Sewashi, Nobita's great-great-grandson, and the two often watch her brother's activities with Nobita. She is more talented than Doraemon and is thus proposed to replace him as Nobita's guardian a few times, but Doraemon always proves to be irreplaceable for Nobita. Many times, she also comes to aid the main characters when the situations prove to be too hard for them.
