Given that the crew knows time-dilation is going to be a problem there, and that time is critical back on Earth, why not send a probe down to check out Miller’s planet first? With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. TARS and CASE– A closer look at the two robots in the film, their “inspiration”, the voices used and the mechanics of both.

Paramount Home Media Distribution has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray director Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Interstellar (2014), starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, and John Lithgow. It delivers science fiction with a distinctly factual flavour; positing a palpably realistic future, and revelling in complex scientific concepts which most filmmakers eschew in favour of preserving audience sanity. That's a whole lotta movie," gasped my wife after her first viewing of Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar. Interstellar, though not an exception, is so predominately stunning that the scattered anomalies are little more than passing space dust in the vastness of its otherwise spectacular universe.

In these difficult circumstances, we’re introduced to Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a former NASA engineer and pilot who’s scratching out a meager living as a farmer. With superb audio and video – not to mention some solid special features – 'Interstellar' is highly recommended. Nolan is as old school as they come and used a film camera as opposed to a digital one that most filmmakers use. When the crew of the Endurance visits a planet orbiting a black hole they're forced to think of time as a commodity since the Theory of Relativity states that time will slow down when one nears a black hole.Hans Zimmer’s score will certainly not appeal to everyone, but it works well against the film’s stark and dramatic imagery, even more so now that the dialogue is actually intelligible. Deliberate or not, many expert and savvy filmgoers were likewise frustrated and complained loudly about the sound online. Hans Zimmer’s score is also a thing of beauty, engaging you and ripping through you with emotion and impact. For one thing, this is a film where contrast is absolutely critical in capturing the realism of outer space.
