With LIQUI MOLY additives you protect your motor, reduce your fuel consumption and save cash. Our oil additives clean the motor from the inside, minimise friction and wear, reduce oil consumption and protect against corrosion. They are suitable for both petrol and diesel motors and help to recreate the original performance of your vehicle motor. It won't work without them. They ensure cleaning and corrosion protection, for stable lubrication and temperature resistance. Even simple mineral motor oils, which no longer come close to meeting the requirements of today's motors, are up to 15% additives. Modern oils, such as fully synthetic motor oils, are even up to 30%. Safe for use on engines with or with out a turbocharger tested, and perfectly compatible with all conventional diesel and biodiesel fuels. Cleaning is performed with the DPF Pressurized Tank Spray Gun (part no. 7946) and the specially developed DPF Probe with 5 interchangeable tips (part no. 7945). Depending on the type of vehicle, establish access to the diesel particulate filter. On most vehicles, remove the temperature or pressure sensor of the diesel particulate filter for this. Note: The temperature of the particulate filter during cleaning should be less than 40 °C. In some vehicles the diesel particulate filter is located near the exhaust manifold or in some cases the turbocharger rather than on the underbody. For safety reasons, use extreme care when cleaning these vehicles to ensure that no cleaning or flushing fluid enters the combustion chamber via an open exhaust valve.
