My thanks to Ken Grey and Henry Krank & Co Ltd for the chance to look at some very unique pieces indeed. Nevertheless, it is believed that the smallest six-shot revolver is the «SwissMiniGun». View this model more closely. At WPolah.com, we offer more than products – we provide a gateway to an exciting hobby, a community of like-minded enthusiasts, and a chance to own a piece of history. The only real difference apart from the size is the fact the bore is not rifled, there’s an integral plug at the forcing cone and no calibre exists that will fit this tiny wheelgun. The guns even have numbers and all the markings that the full sized firearms do. H usband LOVED this! got this as a 30th birthday gift for my husband who is retired Navy and also impossible to find gifts for at every occasion. He absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to recreate the mini-version of something he wore daily while on-duty. Looking like this will become an annual birthday gift here on out!" - Stephanie Bramich

Mosin Rifle. A legendary “trilinear”, its name comes from the caliber of the barrel, which is equal to three Russian lines (the old measure of length) – one line is one tenth of an inch – so, three lines are equal to 7.62 mm. The model is made on the scale of 1/3. The caliber is 3 mm, the length is 500 mm. But with time new demands appeared. In 1943 “Maxim” was replaced by the Peter Goryunov machine gun, equipped with a barrel cooling system. Despite this, “Maxims” were being released at Russian arms factories of Tula and Izhevsk in limited quantities until the end of World War II. Larger by the fact of the model it represents is the Winchester 1866 (Yellow Boy) sporting rifle. This is a true work of art as the quality of materials and finish is very good. The walnut forend and straight hand butt are superb bits of timber, the brass action, end cap and crescent-type butt plate are finished to a mirror shine. The barrel, magazine tube and lever are well blued. Sights consist of a flip-up ladder with actual sliding range bar at the rear, which is even marked as to distance. Up front is a blade set in a transverse dovetail. Obviously zeroing is not feasible but it’s all there and it works.

While creating his weapon, Hiram Maxim came to the necessity to use the energy of recoil which had not been used before. Living in the US, he suggested the government to accept the machine gun for service. After refusal he left for the UK. There, the banker Nathaniel Rothschild became interested in his invention and financed not only the development of this new kind of firearms, but also its production.

Bring your passion for gun collecting with you wherever you go with our scale model replica firearms and accessories. At Armory, realism matters. Our high-quality scale models by GoatGun are 1:3 scale sized and made from die cast metal and some acrylic plastic. Each model is carefully detailed with intricate, working parts, similar to the originals. About our Scale Model Kits https://minifirearms.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Fully-functional-miniature-Colt-Model-1900-half-scale-pistol.mp4Maxim Machine Gun was developed in 1883 by Hiram Stevens Maxim and became the first example of automatic weapons. It was used during almost all serious wars in the first half of the XX century. This is one of the first multi-shot pistols designed by the partners Smith and Wesson. Financial difficulties made them unable to set up a mass production of this gun, it was done several years later by Winchester, who bought their business. Thanks to Kucer, we can directly see and hold in hand this famous historical model, which played such an important role in the development of arms. This miniature 1854 “Volcanic” lever action gun is just 3-3/16″ long. It is included in the collection of the Miniature Craftsmanship Museum in Vista, CA. When you see a tiny pistol that easily fits on the tip of your finger – you usually remember the fairy tales about the battles of tin soldiers. But if you think that a miniature model of firearms is a kind of toy, you are mistaken. Collecting such things is a hobby for many adults and very serious people: high-ranking officials and representatives of the business elite. And this activity is gaining popularity. Again fully strippable the cross wedge can be pushed out to allow the barrel/rammer assembly to be removed from the arbour in the standing breech. The Navy Colt is identical in barrel and overall size to the Cavalry revolver, though being of finer line, is slimmer.

We should also mention the antique models, which were issued at the beginning of the last century in Germany and Austria. According to the principle of work, they could be a single shot type, magazine type and revolver type. Their caliber was the same as in «SwissMiniGun». But the design significantly distinguishes them among today’s «brothers»: the beauty and quality in old days meant much more. The cost of these ancient samples, of course, is corresponding. It is hard to give the exact price, it all depends on how rare the selected exemplar is and how interesting it is from a historical point of view. By the way, the previous model «Berloque» was started from one of them: in 1905, the creator of its first prototype was the Austrian, Gerhard Gebharter. When it comes to our collection of miniature replica guns, it’s all about authenticity. These replicas are more than just scaled-down versions of their full-sized counterparts – they’re accurate representations, reproducing the same operational mechanics. Experience the thrill of handling a miniature gun that can shoot and feel the weight of history in your hands. Why Choose WPolah.com?Armory model kits come unassembled with step-by-step instructions.
