By the time I got to the third act breakup scene I was just ready to put the book down and be done with it. I’ve read many books with college-aged characters and it was SUCH a breath of fresh air to see Bailey and Chase handle everything that came their way with maturity and very limited pettiness. The entire feud between the two of them was so drawn out and felt so insane that I rolled my eyes every time it started.

if im being honest romance books should not be longer that 500 - 600 pages because there is barely any plot and most of the chapters in this book are just them having sex anyway. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great sports romance book to get you out of a reading slump or to read after off campus!

Here is a quick description and cover image of book Offside (Wattpad Version) written by Avery Keelan which was published in 2019-7-25. The author does a fantastic job of writing a unique plot, while really gasping the emotions of a whirlwind college romance between two people that weren’t initially interested in seeking a relationship. Her stories contain happily ever afters with lovable characters, snarky banter, and enough steam to fog up a mirror. bailey was treated terribly by everyone from her school's hockey team, including some of the team girlfriends who were also her roommates and i loved how he was never shy to stand up for her.

While they are in college, they have this matureness about their relationship that makes it so enjoyable to read… no miscommunication here. This is a series and it looked like the author was setting it up for book 2 to be about this female mcs brother, if that’s the case I will not read it.

She ends up still attending his hockey game, her brother plays on the team too, and she goes to a club with some friends after the game. If you love Icebreaker and Consider Me, this book will be right up your alley and I can't wait for the next book in the series. Super fun (and not so quick of a read) book to read and I loved the bromance between the Falcon’s hockey team, such an amazing touch. When not writing, she's spending time with her family, watching hockey (obviously), or enjoying the great Canadian outdoors.
