Any permanent tyre repair necessitates totally removing the tyre, inspecting it for structural damage, and only refitting it if it is in safe condition. I can also say that most tire companies absolutely hate it when you use the goop and they have to clean it out and I've seen many of them add a surcharge when you do so. Cannot see anyone selling this size and Continental state that for the tyre size you need 560ml, only other option would be to purchase 2 x 450ml bottles. The manufacturers point that less than 1/2 of 1% of car owners use a spare doesn’t help those of us who need one…. Even if a puncture is right on the shoulder of the tyre, where the usual 'plug n'patch' technique can't be used and the tyres has to be scrapped unless someone can vulcanise the repair, there is a little old man in a shed in the corner of a trading estate just outside Ledbury who has the kit for vulcanising tyres and who provides an invaluable service to tight-fisted farmers (what other kind ever are there? I ended up finding two screws that allow the orange part of the unit to be opened, exposing the bottle.
