It will include live music from a ten-piece Ska and Reggae band Jungle Lion and amazing local singer Hannah Roe, walkabout entertainment, a light performance, a gift market, fairground rides and food and drink before the countdown to the Christmas Lights' Switch-On. Widely regarded as one of the best events of its kind in the UK, Paisley Halloween Festival will return with a spine-tingling programme of thrills and frights for all the family in October. There is a Christmas Indoor Market from 10am to 2pm in the town hall, with 30 stalls selling a wide range of items. The Scala Hall cafe will be serving hot drinks and mince pies. Paisley’s annual Sma’ Shot Day celebration is one of the world’s oldest workers’ festivals and will take place on Saturday 1 July.In Derbyshire Dales District Council car parks, where charges generally apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, charges are: Wednesday 16 November, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, Makerspace: Paper bridge challenge, Wath Library and Neighbourhood Hub The holiday takes its name from a famous dispute between the local shawl weavers and manufacturers in the 19th century and is held on the first Saturday in July to mark the time of year when the weavers and their families would traditionally take their holidays. Host regular weekly activities across the borough such as: Lego clubs, Rhymetimes, computer classes, knit and natter groups, advice sessions, craft sessions, readers groups and local history groups. A wonderful fireworks finale will take place every Saturday in October and also on the final night, Sunday, October 29. Every Illuminations night will once again be themed for younger visitors.

The young participants set out with disposable cameras to produce images exploring elements of their own lives and identity, which will be presented alongside a series of collaborative portraits in which Wiles pressed his camera's shutter release but the context and locations again came from the young participants. All participants chose which aspects of their lives to present through this work. They also selected their own final images and have added text layers to further amplify their voices.
