I have tested my SK10Y with rears and have no lip sync issues with my Apple TV 4K, Shield TV and Nintendo switch when they are connected directly to my LG B8. I currently connect my Shield straight to the soundbar so I receive lossless audio (TrueHD ATMOS) and connected my Apple TV 4K direct to TV which I can receive lossy DD+ with Atmos with Netflix and iTunes.

Resist the urge to push the bass level up to 3 and you’ll enjoy seamless, non-directional bass that doesn’t sound boomy. Its natural agility and seamless integration keeps your eyes on the action, not the bass controls. Watching movies with this seems far better experience than when I had my floorstanders there is a vast amount of detail and clarity. It streams via WiFi which means there is no downsampling. So it plays exactly what it’s sent, from compressed MP3 files, to uncompressed audio files like FLAC or Apple Lossless. The DM 75 is a surprisingly good Bluetooth music player too, making the most of its three-way driver complement and aptX support. It digs out details that go missing on lesser soundbases and renders basslines with great agility. Verdict Highs are clear and sharp, but amid new competition can teeter on the edge of brightness at volume. It’s not uncomfortable, but it does add to the slight feeling of fragility when compared to the likes of the Solo 15 and Geneva Model Cinema. There’s no doubting the Canton DM75 is an excellent soundbase – we gave it an Award after all – but with the introduction of some fresh new rivals, there are now some things that put its fifth star on shaky ground. In action the DM75 is a class act, just like its little brother. After letting rip with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on Blu-ray, what impresses most is the sheer scale and power of the Canton’s sound. Obviously it can’t match a full-size 5.1 system, but to get such a dynamic and potent sound from a box measuring just 69mm high is nothing short of a miracle.

All of the issues do the exact same thing on my daughters tv so it can surely only be the soundbar as that's what the devices are connected to?? I've tried three full sets of hdmi cables in addition to two separate TV's and still have the same input issues. The bar is running the latest firmware and I've also reset it. The 9 driver Sonos Playbar is part of a complete wireless music system and can link wirelessly with all the other components in the Sonos range , including powered speakers like the Sonos Play:1 and wireless receivers like the Connect:Amp, that will turn a set of passive speakers into a streaming HiFi system. No worries, I’m happy to share my findings. I bought it from John Lewis a few weeks ago, for the same price, also came with the free ThinQ W7K speaker which is actually pretty good. I price matched curry’s. At a metre wide, you’re getting a lot of soundbase for your money, but at 69mm it’s surprisingly slim for such a large soundbase. You don’t have to place it under your TV – it’s just as happy nestling on a shelf below if your set is wall-mounted. It’s the perfect size for my 55in TV, but it will happily support bigger – provided the weight doesn’t exceed 40kg. The glass topped box looks very sleek and unlike the Playbar, comes with its own remote which is on the chunky side but well built. It’s very straightforward setting up the DM55. It has digital optical and coaxial inputs as well as an analogue input and a SUB output. The devices work fine when plugged straight into the tv but there's lipsync issues via arc which you can't adjust sufficiently so it's in sync. The Canton DM75 Soundbase has 200 watts of amplification that ensures the delivery of coherent sound. It makes lip-sync, bass and treble easier and less forced. But the DM100 isn’t all about that bass. First-class mid-range and treble reproduction lends impressive clarity and vigour, heightening the excitement when the action hots up. The snap of gunfire is fierce but never coarse, plus every scene is teeming with incisive top-end detail. Enjoy high-quality Bose audio throughout your room without the need for a home theatre kit thanks to the Bose Solo 5 Sound Bar. Impressive audio The Solo 5 TV Sound System is all you need to experience high-quality audio from your films, TV and music. Simply place it in front of your TV and connect it using either the supplied optical or coaxial cable to get started. Bose’s digital signal processing constantly optimises the sound to deliver the most immersive audio possible. It also normalises the volume between scene, so you aren’t distracted by a sudden increase in volume when the on-screen action intensifies. Universal remote A fully programmable universal remote is included, so you can control the sound bar along with your TV, DVD player, satellite box and more with ease. Make the most of your multimedia with the Bose Solo 5 Sound Bar.

If you own a whopping great TV and want to boost its sonic potential, there aren’t many better ways of doing it than the DM100. With its immense power, gorgeous detail and snappy dynamics, it’s the closest you’ll come to a proper home-cinema experience without buying a receiver and 5.1 speakers. There are a few minor sonic issues, but nothing that can’t be ironed out with a little tweaking. Things get even better with Blu-rays. Via the DM100, The Expendables 3 becomes an absolute assault on the senses with guns firing, bullets pinging, bells ringing, helicopter blades whirring, train carriages rattling and more. The soundbase presents this sonic storm with assurance and clarity, so that you’re aware of each effect without feeling overwhelmed. Consequently you feel fully engaged with the movie. I know with Forums you can get a sense that this issue is a frequent occurance because that is why we have posted comments, but I wonder how many are affected by this issue, 1 in 10, 1 in 1000, 1 in 50,000? - I get slightly more worried when I hear someone has the same issue twice - unusually for Lightning to strike twice unless the obvious is true and there is a Quality issue. The Playbar provides so many more options for playing music. If you have other Sonos speakers, you can group them wirelessly with the Playbar for a multi-room experience. But it’s the app and the ease of playing whatever music you like, all through one simple interface that really sets the Playbar in a different league when it comes to music (and radio for that matter).i think Samsung are fully aware of the issue with TV ARC being lost on their soundbars but dont seem to be doing anything. There are multiple reports on their forums from people with the same issue on different bars. The Canton’s huge sound is largely down to its incredibly deep and muscular bass. Play Looper on Blu-ray and every time Joe blows away a victim, the blunderbuss shot has palpable weight, beefed up by those four potent subs.
