That being said, nothing stood out as special from our listening experience regarding ranges, which is probably where it falls a little short sound-wise. Price matters too, of course. And while it's true that you get what you pay for and some of the world's best headphones are pretty pricey, that doesn't mean you have to spend hundreds of pounds to get a great audio experience. There are plenty of affordable options that punch way above their price tag, and the compromises tend to be small: slightly less premium materials, perhaps, or a bit more audio leakage when you're listening in public places. The red led light is on when charging. The white led light is on which indicates that the battery is fully charged. We found the active noise cancellation to be good and effective enough at dealing with the majority of external distractions. Granted, you're not getting Bose or Sony levels of noise negation, but then you're not spending Bose or Sony level money either. Spend more and you'll get more, sure. After wearing the headphones for a few hours, we expected them to start to hurt a bit, but surprisingly they never, and felt we could continue wearing them for the rest of the day comfortably.

CARE 1 headphones will automatically enter into Bluetooth paring mode after they are powered on white light flashes; We must say that we were pleasantly surprised through our testing of adjusting the headband length and folding it in. It handled it well, even when applying a lot of pressure and being heavy-handed to see if we could get it to break. It stood up to the test fine and showed some good durability when adjusting the headband. Final Audio's wireless, noise-cancelling, over-ear headphones may not look or feel particularly special, but their specification, which includes aptX wireless, long battery life, and active noise cancellation make up for it. And it's not just about the sound. As stamina claims go, 80 hours is impressively insatiable in almost any arena, but particularly concerning wireless headphones – and we actually gleaned just over 90 hours from these in practice.

Customer reviews

I think my conclusion is that the battery is not really intended to be replaced and once it fails the headphones have come to the end of their life........seems like built-in obsolescence and this does not impress me. If the battery were intended to be replaced, surely instructions would be totally clear about this. We found the battery life here to be solid. The UX3000 lasted for 35 hours from a single charge when we had ANC switched off, and 25 hours when it was switched on. During our testing we found that, from flat, they can be fully charged in around two-and-a-half hours. The issue is reallyjust the price – they cost a lot more than the WH-1000XM4, but the differences are not totally night and day. It's also a shame they no longer have a folding design for travelling, though that's not a dealbreaker for most. The rechargeable battery life is advertised as 52 hours by DOQAUS, which is an impressive claim for a Bluetooth set of headphones. With most wireless headphones, you would probably be looking at them lasting half as long. Can they compete with more recognised brands on the market sound-wise? No. The sound doesn’t sound cheap, but it’s certainly not for music lovers looking for a clear, extra punch to their sound.

The Care 1 model from the Chinese manufacturer DOQAUS is a budget set of Bluetooth over-ear headphones that can also be used as wired. One disappointing thing is that the battery is not replaceable, meaning that once it dies, the headphones are effectively dead and need to be disposed of. This is not unique to this model, but a bit disappointing from a green perspective. DOQUAS are good at replacing units if you get in touch with them.

User reviews

That's up to you. The best brand of wireless headphones is the brand that delivers the features and audio quality you want at the price you're willing to pay. Their predecessors, the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, are at the top of our list because we think the specs and the price will suit anyone looking for a high-end pair of headphones. But the XM5s do offer a more lightweight wireless design, new drivers for improved sound, a whole array of microphones for better call quality and super-fast charging. There's also beefier processing for the noise cancellation, which was already superb and is the best you can get at the time of writing. If you’re looking for the most powerful noise-cancelling headphones money can buy, you won’t be disappointed. Do not use the adaptor without Safety certification, not rated SV. ( The headphone is designed with power protection circuit. The headphone will stop charging to protect the battery and it self if use the adaptor unmatched.) Moving around a lot, exercising didn’t seem to cause the connection to drop either, which can be common with some Bluetooth connections. These were already great value when we first reviewed them, but now that they often see discounts, the WH-CH520 are by far the best bargain buy for wireless on-ear cans.

Although we’ve no long-term use to report wearing the headphones, one of the most common complaints online is that the ear cushions could be better made, and we agree. More on the fit and comfort further down. Buttons You also get a low battery warning through the headphones when it’s running under 30% (approx) charge. It’s an ok feature, but it does interrupt your audio to remind you to recharge the headphones, which can get a bit annoying. Microphone Designed primarily as a wireless set of headphones with a rechargeable battery, you still have the option to switch to a wired power setup thanks to the doubled-ended 3.5mm AUX cable provided.Final's first wireless ANC offering is a slam dunk. While the noise cancellation isn't the best, it's a first-class listen for music, with great features for the price.

x DOQAUS Care1 Bluetooth Headphones Over Ear,1 x AUX Cable,1 x Charging Cable,1 x Storage Pouch,1 x User Manual See more After unboxing the Care 1s, our first impression of the body design was that it looked quite nice and better than we thought in the flesh for a budget set of headphones. The shiny branded plastic sides also add a nice touch to the overall aesthetics.

Why is Doqaus Care 1 better than the average?

They were quite impressive in our Bluetooth range test outdoors, as they managed to hold a stable connection until about 35 metres away before we started to lose connection to our mobile device. The advertised Bluetooth range by DOQAUS is 10 metres.
