While it is unlikely, the fact that they were on the helmets in 2020-21 makes jersey advertisement a possibility. This is the logo I’m most hopeful for because the impact it could make would seriously help out Californians. 5- Toyota The NHL Board of Governors has approved advertisements on game jerseys starting in the 2022-23 season. This is for all teams, including the LA Kings.

When Adidas unveiled the Reverse Retro jersey designs in 2020, LA’s was easily one of the best. The Gretzky era logo mixed with the “Forum blue” and gold was a *chef’s kiss*. Fans were obsessed. They were utterly perfect. Probably the most likely outcome, Spectrum was the company the LA Kings had on their helmets in the 2021-22 season. Spectrum has been a sponsor for LA for a few years now, and since the Kings agreed to represent them last season, it’s hard to doubt both sides want to continue their partnership. It’s wrong these lasted only one year. And in a time when many didn’t get an opportunity to see them live or even get a chance to buy one due to manufacturing shortages. The Reverse Retro 2.0s debuting this season are showing promise. But will it be enough?Whether it was the gradient sash, the purple colored numbers, or the strange logo, the “Burger King” jerseys worn during the 1995-96 season didn’t work. Since then, however, the sweater has grown a cult following, being embraced for its ghastliness. As of today, the entire arena has been remodeled to match the Crypto.com colors and designs, and it’s even gone through remodels to make the arena much more refurbished and look much more modern. Some of these additions include new screens and new areas in the arena for entertainment.

The jerseys used at that time were…alright. They weren’t the best. But this era did introduce us to the sunglasses-clad lion. It’s probably the most controversial and it’ll receive its fair share of criticism, but in the end, it’ll look the cleanest out of any NHL team if it were to happen. 4- CalHope The inevitable will be arriving soon. After years of resistance, the NHL has decided to allow advertising patches on game jerseys beginning in the 2022-23 season. There will be one patch allowed per team, including the LA Kings. Personally, this would be my favorite option. If you can recall, the LA Kings had CalHope as their helmet sponsor in the 2020-21 NHL season. It was probably the coolest, too. In-N-Out is a massive staple in California and it’s beloved by anyone and everyone. When people visit any part of the west coast, their first stop is usually In-N-Out. They really do love those notorious burgers. Even though the LA Kings have never done anything in partnership with them, the idea of the iconic logo being on the historic LA jersey is such a cool thought. The color combination made its debut on October 14, 1967, when the LA Kings played their first game at the Long Beach Arena (construction of the Forum had not yet been completed). Three days before the Lakers debuted them on the hardwood.
