Description

Of those long missing titles, the most desired was Police Story 3: Supercop, purely on the premise of it featuring Michelle Yeoh opposite Hong Kong’s most famous son. However, the team confirmed that the movie is not a sequel of the previous films Police Story Part 1 and 2.

This is one of those movies that should only be watched for the action, though the story will certainly entertain you with how cheesy it is. The point is that, while the film features some pretty crazy stunts, it's not the craziest, or best, Jackie Chan film out there. Traintop Battle: The ending battle have a rather lengthy and awesome battle on a train where Kevin and Yang battles Chaibat's mooks. For many, it was like watching them for the first time, a transformation from full-screen, soft, possibly wrong cuts to give us the Police Story movies like never seen before. The final half an hour, which has the gang attempt a daring bank robbery, offers the best dose of action, with Yang going up against a foe twice her size (and kicking ass, of course!A longer version of the meeting with Chaibat in which the sexy women lounging about his mansion are revealed as drug addicts. Contrived Coincidence: Not only does May's tour group arrive in Kuala Lumpur the same day as an undercover Ka-Kui and Yang, but they even end up at the same hotel. These films are classic Jackie Chan and highlight all the elements that Westerners would come to enjoy in films like the aforementioned Rush Hour or Shanghai Knights, only more concise, less constrained for Hollywood purposes, and Chan is lot fitter and quicker.

Various directorial techniques have been put to test with each director filming bits and parts of the two hour movie. Filmed on location in Ukraine and Australia, the film also marks the last appearance of Bill Tung, who plays Chan's superior "Uncle" Bill Wong in the series. If you are a Michelle Yeoh fan, it’s a definite winner because it’s a classic role for her, but also to see the film where her iconic statements about Jackie Chan originated while she was on the ‘Everything, Everywhere all at Once’ press cycle. With the help of another undercover agent (Michelle Yeaoh), they travel to Hong Kong and join up with Panther's gang.
