Chromatic aberration is the lens' inability to focus on the sensor or film all colours of visible light at the same point. Severe chromatic aberration gives a noticeable fringing or a halo effect around sharp edges within the picture. It can be cured in software. It's also wider than the Nikon lens on Nikon. It's not quite as wide as the 10-22mm on Canon 1.6x cameras and not as wide as the 16-35mm. If you need the widest possible zoom, that's the 16-35mm L on a full-frame camera. The Canon 17-40mm f/4 L is a better lens for me than the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L, the Nikon 12-24mm and the Canon 10-22mm EF-S. EW-83E for full-frame cameras. Try a smaller hood like the EW-83DII for smaller sensor cameras. (Same as 16-35mm.) Gary Wolstenholme takes a look at this popular lightweight ultra-wide angle zoom lens, which has a constant aperture of f/4, an Ultrasonic focusing motor and sealing against the elements.

FinCEN Customer Due Diligence Requirements for Financial Institutions; CDD Rule, 81 FR 29397 (May 11, 2016) (CDD Rule Release); 82 FR 45182 (September 28, 2017) (making technical correcting amendments to the final CDD Rule published on May 11, 2016). FinCEN is authorized to impose AML program requirements on financial institutions and to require financial institutions to maintain procedures to ensure compliance with the BSA and associated regulations. 31 U.S.C. 5318(h)(2) and (a)(2). The CDD Rule is the result of the rulemaking process FinCEN initiated in March 2012. See 77 FR 13046 (March 5, 2012) (Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking) and 79 FR 45151 (August 4, 2014) (Notice of Proposed Rulemaking). The17-40mm f/4 and 16-35mm f/2.8 work great on the 1.6x sensor cameras ( Rebel, 30D, 20D), but for those cameras the 18-55mm EF-S lens, for one sixth the price, is lighter and more agile. None of these is wide on a 1.6x camera. Even this 17-40mm on a 1.6x camera only covers a range similar to what a 27-65mm lens would on a 35mm film camera. For these 1.6x cameras, you have an easy choice: get the 10-22mm EF-S, which covers the same range on those cameras as a 16-35mm lens covers on full-frame cameras. The Canon 17-40mm f/4L has been around for a while now but it is still worth considering for many photographers. There are better lenses out there but this is no slouch and given the incredible value now offered by this lens it is well worth another look. Once member firms obtain the required beneficial ownership information, the CDD Rule requires that member firms verify the identity of the beneficial owner(s)—in other words, that they are who they say they are and not their status as beneficial owners—through riskbased procedures that include, at a minimum, the elements required for member firms' CIP procedures for verifying the identity of individual customers. 36 Such verification must be completed within a reasonable time after account opening. 37 Member firms may rely on the beneficial ownership information supplied by the individual opening the account, provided that they have no knowledge of facts that would reasonably call into question the reliability of that information. 38 This Notice provides guidance to member firms regarding their obligations under FINRA Rule 3310 in light of the adoption of FinCEN's CDD Rule. In addition, the Notice summarizes the CDD Rule's impact on member firms, including the addition of the new fifth pillar required for member firms' AML programs. Member firms should also consult the CDD Rule as well as FinCEN's related FAQs, 8 which FinCEN indicates it will periodically update. Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. 22 For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person; ( F) similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave. ( G) 23 You were bought at a price; ( H) do not become slaves of human beings. 24 Brothers and sisters, each person, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation they were in when God called them. ( I) Concerning the Unmarried The 17-40mm f/4 L has NO image stabilization. It's so wide that this isn't a problem. You can hand-hold it much slower than a normal lens. To fix distortion perfectly, use DxO software. Mouse over this image to see before and after DxO, which also fixes falloff and more.

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers(40) And he took his staff in his hand.--It was a true stroke of military genius in David, this determination of his to fight only with the weapons, weak and unimportant though they seemed, with which he was familiar, and in the use of which he was so skilful; nor was the issue of the combat, now he had resolved to use the sling, even doubtful. It has been well said he was like one armed with a rifle, while his enemy had only a spear and a sword, and if only he could take sure aim the result was absolutely certain. These were shot in program mode, f/9 at 1/125, ISO 50. Considering you'd need a 44" (1.1m) wide screen to see the entire images, I'd say this is pretty good.Shots like this are the reason to own a 17mm: ultrawides exaggerate depth and make spaces look much larger than they are. Some of the verticals aren't perpendicular to the sides of the image because I hand-held the shot and didn't have the camera level. These lines aren't curved, they're merely crooked because that's how I held the camera. As I'd normally expect for an ultra-wide lens, distortion at 17mm is quite pronounced. Here Imatest recorded 7.46% barrel distortion, which is quite high, but not uncharacteristic for a lens of this type. Unfortunately the curvature increases towards the corners in a non-uniform fashion, which may make it difficult to completely correct the effect in image editing software afterwards. At 40mm very mild pincushion distortion is present. Here Imatest recorded a level of 0.303%, which will be barely noticeable in most cases. then the 16-35 L II is a better choice (you need at least f/2.8 - or image stabilization for motionless subjects). In fact, FinCEN notes that broker-dealers must continue to comply with FINRA Rules, notwithstanding differences between the CDD Rule and FINRA Rule 3310. See CDD Rule Release 29421, n. 85. If a member firm does not execute transactions for customers or otherwise hold customer accounts or act as an introducing broker with respect to customer accounts ( e.g., engages solely in proprietary trading or conducts business only with other broker-dealers), then "independent testing" is required every two years. See FINRA Rule 3310(c).
