We tested the monitor with the PS5's new variable refresh rate feature and confirmed that it's not compatible, since the PS5 only supports HDMI Forum VRR. Overall, the aesthetics are low key but impressive. The visual appeal and performance of the LG 27GP950-B matches up to the promise of the specs on the side of the box – and they're some very decent specs too, amongst the best that you can get for a monitor of this size and price.

What’s expected from an Xbox Series S monitor is entirely different from other next-gen machines, often less demanding on the specs and better on the wallet.
