It's so soft and cuddly,so comforting and so nice that whenever I feel cold and blue I use it to cheer me up and boost my mood.I find it nostalgic as it reminds me of the homemade orange-vanilla cake my mom used to bake and serve it with a cup of warm,cinnamon tea It's been two years that I have Hidden Fantasy and all of a sudden recently I've started to crave it a lot! As would be expected, I grew out of the sweet, sugary gourmands as I grew older, and with my developing tastes I came to really enjoy the less sweet Hidden Fantasy. Although still a gourmand, Hidden Fantasy is a bit more grown-up. To my nose it smells like a delicious slice of an orange poppy-seed cake minus the sugary icing. It is applicable for the mature at heart - for any woman who loves warm spice and vanilla - interplay with sweet jasmine and tender citrus notes, with a breath of clove for that added earthiness.

This dries down in to a muskiness, a certain warmth, something like cloves and pepper, whilst retaining that very strong orange top note. It’s not a bright red, plummy, juicy fruity, it’s a musky, citrus fruity. On first spray , Hidden Fantasy comes off like an orange cream soda/orange poppy seed cake with a touch of spice. As my skin continued to heat it up,the orange note stayed steady and the “imitation” vanilla note gave way to the faint spicy note from earlier. Which somehow made the orange note stronger/more crisp. This strange union kept both notes from becoming cloying.I bought this recently because the craving just wouldn't go away. It's my 2nd or 3rd bottle now - I'm not even sure anymore, and the juice is EXACTLY the same to when I first bought it about 10 years ago! Thank God. I am excited to wear Hidden Fantasy in the Fall and Winter! Britney Spears fragrances are new to me and I am looking forward to trying more in her Fantasy line. I know, I know, Im late to the game with this one! Cos it's Christmas now i've been spraying my jumpers with it and it doesn't even last on those. Dunno but i always associate Orange scents with Christmas. UPDATE: This lasts upwards of 10 hours on my skin! Not a skin scent either. I smell it everytime I move my arms. I LOVE Hidden Fantasy! Today I have it layered with Bonfire Bash body cream from BBW...another great pairing and perfect for Fall!

I am continually surprised by the beauty and quality of BS fragrances, this one is the best surprise of all!!!I always felt like I can't fully understand this perfume.we don't have Christmas but I always had something particular in my mind as a Christmas scent,Etat de libre orange Noel au Balcon or Oriflame Love Potion are much closer to my imaginations of a Christmas perfume than Hidden Fantasy Believe it or not, there are actually some celebrity perfumes that do not smell overly-sweet, overly-flowery, generic, pungent and cheap! Generally speaking, I am not a fan of most celebrity fragrances. Most of them smell low quality to my nose. When I find one that I like, it's great because they can usually be found for very reasonable prices. Designer scents tend to garner a much higher price point than their celeb counterparts. Longevity is fairly decent, if not remarkable. Sillage, like all the Britney perfumes, is in-your-face and pretty intense. You get a big bottle for your money, and I think this particular red bottle is very attractive. However, my bottle seems to have a leaky spray, and this stuff stains fabrics and wood red, so be wary of getting it all over the place! If you’re wearing white and you spray this near it, you’ll have red spots on your clothes all day! I have my suspicions on how much say Britney has when it concerns her perfume line. Let me say that right off the bat. Even with that slightly cynical opener, I must say Britney has one of the best celebrity perfume brands. This is one brand where I'm determined to try as many as I can.

It starts out very, very citrussy. Well, at least I agree with the top voted notes, orange and mandarine, they are really dominant here. The top is fizzy and warm, but also weirdly creamy and floral for a citrus perfume - I imagine an orange would smell like this if it was pink instead of orange colored. The performance makes this pretty much pointless. I disappears within about 10 minutes. I get long enough to think "Oh, this is pretty", then it's pretty much gone. There is never any sillage, even within minutes of application, I have to touch my nose to my skin to smell it. I can't smell it at all within 10-15 minutes. I even tried seriously overspraying it to see if it would help. Even after 30 sprays (4-6 sprays is my usual) I still can't smell it on skin or clothes. I had no reason to be afraid. I hardly smell any clove and if I do it isn’t enough to deter me. A reviewer much further down mentioned that it smells similar to VivaLaJuicy Gold. I do see the resemblance but much much weaker, no caramel. I love this, it is dark, mature, creamy, sweet, spicy and lovely. It is officially one of my favorites I may never take it off. It suits all occasions day or nightwear and in my opinion can work as a signature scent. It's a lot less sweet than the rest of the fantasy collection, more grown up and more polished which i appreciate since I do believe there is such a thing as overdosing on sweetness (yes i'm talking about you Heat Ultimate Elixer - don't get me wrong I do love sweet scents but I don't think that they're appropriate for everyday usage that's all). I wore this out to run some errands and I kept thinking “man what’s that lovely smell?” And it turns out it was me!Ooh baby, this is delicious. First spritz- blast of warm juicy oranges, it eases into a sweetness that I can't quite describe, but I'm intoxicated by it. There is a warmness to this, which is appealing- especially, since this is citrus... there is a light brightness to the warmth... sweet and sour, a sparkling aura of delight... I've never smelled anything like this. Now, the dessert comes. That wow- holy mother of god, cake- oh, I've got to have that cake. But no, it smells way too good to eat. I don't want it to go away... Spice peaking through... It's only been a few minutes, so I'll return... :) I should at this point mention that this entire process takes at least 9 hours to complete (each stage lasting a little less time than the last so the "orange cake" stage is by far the longest) which for me is really good lasting power for a fragrance of this cost. Overall assessment: Hidden fantasy, is wonderful, warm, inviting, yet invigorating and truly one of if not THE best Britney Fragrance. It is everything I hoped it would be and more and I think i may be slightly addicted. And the boyfriend absolutely loves it - it's been 2 days now and i can't seem 2 get his nose away from my spray points (not that i'm complaining lol so THAT is a definite plus). Love at frist sniff and highly recommended.
