There was a little scope for deepening the slot so I took a little down. I didn’t have much hope and I was right. Still had a popping string. A major plus point with JZW is once you've bought the first map all others are free, even if you go to stage 3+ in a few months then stage 5 next year. You pay once and that's it. I looked at Vtuner & Maptun but the extra expense of another map put me off especially as I'd probably be getting another 3 or 4 maps as I go up the stages.

The softwares also easy to upload, has some handy features like the clearing fault codes and adjusting the wheel sizes for larger/smaller wheels (handy for me when I fitted lower profile tyres) and I'm sure he said there's a data logging option coming, which will be great if you progress up the stages so the map can be tweaked to individual cars with different set ups to get that bit extra out of your hardware. Would love to get mine mapped on Vpower with thinners when it's stage 5. Should go like stink! These tuners are incredibly lightweight but still durable enough to put up with gigging abuse. They have a smooth action when tuning plus a vintage-correct split tuning post. These tuners are designed as close to original 60s Kluson tuners as possible, so they add performance as well as a sense of authenticity to any Strat or Telecaster style guitar.

Roush Performance

You can't help feeling that Leo Fender really did get it right first time; so much so that the humble Tele has probably had more versions built around it than any other guitar alive. So what, if anything, is so 'special' about this Special? I could have made a new nut with stupidly deep slots but why make a sub-standard nut to deal with this problem. Founded by America's favorite automotive tuner in 1962, Carroll Shelby’s Shelby American tuning shop famously utilized the Texan's penchant for speed when crafting the notorious AC Cobra. The 1959 LeMans winner stuffed the British roadster with a 4.7-liter V8 from Ford to thwart the Chevrolet Corvette’s status as America's finest sports car. By 1967, the Shelby Cobra developed an earth-shattering 355 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque thanks to a Ford 427 V8 engine found onboard.

The car that featured in SSC’s now defunct record attempt also rode on conventional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and was powered by commercially available fuel. This was done to keep the car’s specs identical to the production model, in an attempt to make the record as credible as possible.Shelby American's relationship with Ford blossomed into multiple vehicles. Timeless icons include the LeMans winning Ford GT40, the Shelby GT500, and the one-of-one Shelby GT500 Super Snake. The Shelby American tuning shop went on to work with Chrysler and Dodge, building stunning high-performance vehicles that stand the test of time.

These European tuners all offer what is similar power ( ok Hirsch is lagging behind as you'd expect) Staggered tuners have fewer covers on the nut, which means fewer strings that might settle unevenly during tremolo play and cause the guitar to go out of tune. yep, cap the torque to save the clutch, this also the case with JZW map's as they are mapped to your need's.You might get a buzz when the string’s played open even though the string slot is at the right height. You might get an impact on tone, focus, or sustain. You might even get a string that pops out of the slot when you do a bend on the first few frets. the Americans squeeze every last drop out putting the car on edge and the quoted figures would not be very reliable after a couple of what runs. Sealed-gear tuners use a threaded collar that encompasses the post, tightened with a nut. These are super easy to install yourself and in a straight swap can be done in minutes. However, if you’re changing from Vintage to more modern Sealed-gear tuners, you will likely need to make the tuning post hole larger to allow the new tuner to fi. You can use something like a tapered reamer to enlarge the hole evenly. Mounting Screw Location However, after analysing the video footage – and applying a little mathematics relating to the car’s gearing and final drive ratio – internet mathematicians soon debunked the claims, saying the true top speed of the Tuatara was around 250mph. Tuning your engine can completely transform performance but there are a wide range of upgrades that need to work together to get the maximum effect. For instance, engine remapping can work with your upgrades to generate extra BHP and improve acceleration, with brands like Cobb Tuning specialising in engine remaps across all makes and models. Similarly, delivering the optimum amount of fuel, at the right time, is crucial in a high performance engine and a fuel pump upgrade can help to get it from the tank to the engine in perfect time. AEM Electronics produce a range of high performance fuel pumps capable of optimising fuel delivery, and efficiency, so your engine is always ready to perform; while DeatschWerks fuel injectors help by actually sending the fuel into the engine bay.
