This one is very smooth, fruity and sweet, and one can smell more in the opening than just the chemical lemon of the earlier batches. I think that Armaf began to start putting a much more prominent pineapple note in the batches from at least 7/19 and onward.

BUT, at least on my chemistry, that faded right away and I was left with a very masculine and powerful scent that definitely reminds me of Aventus. I also have creed Aventus but actually use club di nuit intense (pure parfum) more as I know it lasts most of the day, and the last few batches of Aventus I've had don't. I will let CDNIM Pure Parfum sit and macerate for a month and see how it has improved in performance/sillage/scent/lasting power. Maybe I am just unlucky I got mine yesterday and tried it but mine just smell lemon zest, that's it. Atomizer on my model shoots out a decent amount of juice, it's like 1,5x amount of an average atomizer. And it lasts for a good amount of time - perhaps not as long as the EDT / EDP (I don't know but I know people say that lasts forever) - but certainly longer than Aventus, particularly on clothes. When I first got this bottle, the dry down reminded me of Sandalore and some kind of superamber, like amber extreme, it wasn’t pleasant. I view myself as enough of a fragrance enthusiast that I can truly tell you that this 7/19 batch is enough for most people.

I tried to like the scent and sometimes I got used to the scent and it smelled kinda good, but still the syntheticness couldn't go over my mind and so I actually regret I bought it. So if you prefer a sweeter version, just hit it with a touch (10-15%) of Demeter Pineapple - it really does get it "there. I get great longevity with my newer batch of Aventus, actually slightly better than this, but cdnim does project quite a bit more. Not by much so the pineapple is still very prominent but dont expect Erba Pura level fruitness if you know what i mean.
