Dead Man’s Fingers has announced the launch of their first ever Tequila – Dead Man’s Fingers Tequila Reposado – which has been aged in bourbon barrels. The Dead Man’s Sunrise, meanwhile, combines the Tequila with 25ml of Triple Sec liqeuer, 100ml of orange juice 20ml of grenadine, topped with a garnish of orange slices and cherries:

A light amber ale with a smooth malt base, gentle hop characters with a nutty aroma and hints of pear drop and banana, Salcombe recommends Belgica as the perfect accompaniment to roast lamb. As a result, it’s a really exciting time to be entering such a vibrant category with our Dead Man’s Fingers Reposado, which we’re confident will appeal to our adventurous Dead Man’s Fingers rum fans and excite drinkers about the versatility and vibrancy of Tequila.” The trademark bright and bold colours of The Dead Man’s Fingers remain branching out into a new spirit, with the bottle design a vibrant light blue and yellow colours. Dead Man’s Fingers has been best known for its rum since its inception in Cornwall in 2015. The brand is said to have a focus on experimentation and its decision to move into the Tequila category is no doubt further proof of this.

The move sees Dead Man’s Fingers enter the Tequila category for the first time, along with a quality Reposado liquid which has been aged in Bourbon barrels to create rounded notes of vanilla and honey. Salcombe Brewery has released a new pale ale, Belgica (5% ABV), the first of a range of small batch to be released this year.

The end result is a distinctive flavour profile due to the unique collaboration of liquid and a generous blend of 60% grain to 40% malt/pot still split. Other suggested serves include mixing the Tequila to make a Margarita or combining it with triple sec, orange juice and grenadine to make a Tequila Sunrise. This novel collection is a fantastic opportunity for us to combine our creativity and expertise to deliver some stunning new beers to complement our award-winning ales. Licensees can also apply to have their venue designated as a Free Tree Hub as part of the Pints Mean Trees initiative.
