I personally, have actually liked the way that L’Homme smells more so than La Nuit. Just crappy performance. Now, I actually have grown to favor La Nuit’s smell more, and L’Homme is pretty atrocious with how it lasts. Projection wise, it’s not a fill the room scent. It is subtle, but still noticeable, to those in your immediate presence. The sillage starts off moderate, but goes light after about an hour or two. Don’t expect a powerhouse from this or the other scents in the L’Homme lineup of colognes. The Riflesso Trussardi is a three-note fragrance with a unique combination of ingredients, plants, and herbs to produce a fresh, long-lasting smell that may become addicting.

The deep, sensuous oriental chords portray the current man's charm, confidence, strength, and seduction. You can apply this scent in any weather, but it would be best if you wear it in winter. The powdery texture and underlying tonka bean aroma will be the ones that will live the cold the best. It's a fantastic alternative to the expensive La Nuit de L'Homme perfume because the notes and formulation are the same. The shape of the bottles for both of these fragrances is the only distinguishing feature.That initial punch is still pretty solid, though. Just nowadays, it doesn’t keep to that same level for all that long. These perfumes offered as alternatives to la Nuit de L'homme do an excellent job because of their incredible combination of luscious notes. These dupes are similar in quality to la Nuit de L'homme, and you can get a designer scent at a low price. For a time, La Nuit is quite powdery and has a really attractive aroma, as it dries down. I like the opening of this scent, but the dry down is fantastic.

Ombre noir is a warm, somewhat sweet, and somewhat spicy fragrance with a clean, fresh scent and a dark nature. It's a lovely perfume that doesn't stray into the extremely candy-like aroma but instead stays true to its masculinity. You can wear it casually or to work as well. It’ll fit in just fine. Seasonally, best in colder to temperate weather, not a summertime scent.The longevity of this fragrance is above average, and you can expect a lifespan of seven to eight hours straight. However, this fragrance requires one to three puffs to sustain you through an average workday. As such, I’m giving the win here to La Nuit de l’Homme. It reaches higher heights of greatness and has the better performance. Unlike it competitor, it still has some life left in it. Update: With my 2021 bottle, L’Homme is now in the 2.5-3 hour range of longevity. The sillage is about the same, but the longevity is somehow even worse. The performance on skin, just isn’t good at all. La Nuit starts off with cardamom and bergamot. The bergamot isn’t too heavy and is soon replaced by the lavender note, for the most part. This one has a pretty big dose of cardamom at the top.
