OK, we hold our hands up – this Nestling folding camping table is a budget offering and probably not the highest quality piece of furniture you’ll ever buy – however, it covers all the basic features that we consider essential in a camping table. They are easier to cut and customize for wooden cabinet work. In addition, they offer you a smoother finish when laminated or polished compared to solid woods.

The Autonomous Artist desk is available in a matte or a standard finish. Matte finish absorbs light and gives you a comfortable feel. The standard finish is not glossy to reflect light yet sharp enough to make it stand out as a prized possession! This is a great table for socialising for it can seat up to 8 people due to the hexagonal shape, with an independent height adjustment of each of the three legs. The table top then connects securely onto the top of the spike and hey presto, you’ve got your own personal drinks table! Where the Zempire excels over other drinks tables is that there are four indents carved into the bamboo top. These support up to 4 wine glasses very nicely indeed. There is also a handy bottle opener on the underside of the table. The bamboo sections fit together really well with very minimal grooves in between them. This is a massive difference to some of the aluminium options we recommend below which tend to have bigger gaps. It is sublime and exceptionally smooth but with a lovely grain. You can mentally picture the bamboo shoots swaying in the Japanese breeze!
