Mids are of course perfectly flat and crystal clear but they are not dry at all as they sound fully engaging with a weighty presentation. Back to the topic – xDuoo XD05 Plus – which is the flagship in the lineup of portable DAC/amps for now.

The package is so complete, I have to add XD-05 Plus to Audiophile-Heaven’s Hall Of Fame just for it. It has vents to cool off, because when you provide almost a watt of power at 32 OHMs, you really need vents and to be careful with your power.
