The Big Man received an entry in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition #16, and in The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Spider-Man #1 (2005). To complicate things further, members of the Maggia have boarded the ship looking for the vaccine, as well as Dracula who has come to destroy its inventors as it poses a threat to Vampires in general. Speaking of the Howard mission, that was created by a designed named Brian Matheson for a game jam Insomniac had before a holiday break. He made it in two or three days and, when the team saw it, they knew it needed to be in the game. This was the importance of giving the team the runway to tell their own stories and be creative in different ways than the typical save-the-universe comic book way.

[7] When Kingpin kidnaps Jameson because of his editorials on the new crime wave, Spider-Man tries to rescue him, but is beaten by Kingpin. [8] Kingpin tries to drown both Jameson and Spider-Man, but Spider-Man uses his webbing to create an air bubble that keeps them both alive. The attempted murder of Jameson turns Foswell against Kingpin, who, sensing this, tries to kill him. However, Spider-Man enters and stops him. While Kingpin and Spider-Man battle, Foswell runs into the basement of the Kingpin's building to try to help Jameson. When he finds Jameson, Foswell protects him from the thugs trying to kill him, and takes a bullet meant for him. The Kingpin escapes, and Foswell dies from the bullet wound. [10] Sure, NYC is obviously so much a part of Spider-Man, but that doesn't mean he can't leave the confines of the Big Apple for a bit, right? Intihar doesn't go so far as to confirm one way or another that we'll see Spidey and his amazing friends in another setting, but he does share where he'd personally like to see the hero swing to.
