Never heard of anyone getting a ticket for this, and definitely telling my friends to beware parking/driving in San Francisco and also Palo Alto based on some online feedback. I’ve always preferred the placement of the OEM front plate bracket over other aftermarket options, just did not particularly like the permanent method of mounting it with double-sided tape.
