Brothers, [ u] my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that ( GP)they have a zeal for God, ( GQ)but not according to knowledge. 3 For, being ignorant of ( GR)the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 For ( GS)Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. A primary preposition denoting position, and instrumentality, i.e. A relation of rest; 'in, ' at, on, by, etc. Let not ( U)sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. 13 ( V)Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but ( W)present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. 14 For ( X)sin ( Y)will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. Slaves to Righteousness

Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. 17 Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. 18 Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. And the LORD said to Moses, ‘I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.’In the same way you also must regard yourselves as dead in relation to sin, but as alive in relation to God, because you are in Christ Jesus. Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Strong's 5547: Anointed One; the Messiah, the Christ. From chrio; Anointed One, i.e. The Messiah, an epithet of Jesus.

What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, ( BC)I would not have known sin. In the same way you are to think of yourselves as dead, so far as sin is concerned, but living in fellowship with God through Christ Jesus. Sia benedetto il Signore! For just ( AK)as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, [ j]leading to further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, [ k]leading to sanctification. Romans 6:1 Grace justifies believers, making them free of the guilt of sin, blameless, so that they may have eternal life.
